Samuel L. Jackson Reveals How Many MARVEL Movies He Has Left On His Contract

The events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier obviously drastically reduced Nick Fury's role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He will however turn up in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but just how many appearances does Samuel L. Jackson have left on his contract? Find out here...

Thanks to after-credits scenes and cameos in the likes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., how many contracted appearances Samuel L. Jackson has left on his Marvel contract has become a little harder to figure out. Talking to IGN to promote Kingsman: The Secret Service (which is amazing, FYI), the actor had this to say: "I've only got two more movies in my contract. That might be the end of it unless I get an extension!" He also talks about that long rumoured Nick Fury movie, so check out the video above for more. How much more of the character do you want to see?

Yeah I'd like to see the real Fury come into the MCU. The one who uses all kinds of LMD and has the Infinity Formula in his system.

Russo's were the first one to make an attempt at doing something more interesting with the character. I'm sure they'd like to take it further.

Can't wait to see how badly Whedon [frick]ed it up again, promo art shows him in same garb he had pre-TWS

@Dandy: pretty sure Iron Man 1 counted in his contract.

So his costume design...actually not even that. His EYE PATCH is now being used as evidence of Whedon [frick]ing things up? Don't get a hand cramp while you're grasping for all those straws.

I'm just dying to see how he plays into Age of Ultron.

He's in Europe after The Winter Soldier, and obviously Strucker and the Twins are somewhere in Europe too. If the assault on Strucker's fortress happens in the very beginning, does Fury pop up right after, but before the party scene at Stark Tower? Or do the Avengers go back to Europe later on when Ultron gets loose?

Who cares about contracts. If he wants to do another one he can!

Hmmm, I've got a feeling they'll kill him off. However, it would be more suitable to have a younger actor come in and play the de-aged version of Fury. Remember? Like how they did in A:EMH?
