Avengers: Age of Ultron took a slightly higher dip than expected in North America this weekend of 60%, and it now looks set for a three day total of $77.2 million. That takes the sequel's domestic cume to around the $312.8 million mark. Overseas, Joss Whedon's movie brought in a solid $68.3 million (bear in mind that it still hasn't opened in China or Japan) for a total of $562.4 million.
Add those together and Avengers: Age of Ultron has a worldwide total of $875.3 million, meaning it's a day or two away from $900 million and will breeze past the $1 billion mark sometime this week. Analysts are still predicting that the sequel will ultimately earn more than The Avengers, but how much more remains to be seen at this point...how many times have you guys watched it?
