It Sounds Like We Should Forget About 'Hal Jordan' Coming To Season Four Of ARROW

Season three of Arrow and the first season of The Flash featured more than a few apparent nods to Coast City's Hal Jordan, a.k.a. Green Lantern. However, executive producer Marc Guggenheim has now shed some light on the chances of him showing up, and it doesn't sound good...

Scattered throughout the most recent seasons of Arrow and The Flash were some serious hints about Hal Jordan joining The CW corner of the DC Universe. Between mentions of a missing test pilot and lots of nods to Ferris Air (not to mention Oliver Queen heading off to Coast City at the end of season three, an indication perhaps that the character would show up in flashbacks), it seemed like it was on the cards, but not so according to Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenhiem.

"They announced the 'Green Lantern Corps' movie, and I’d be surprised if it didn’t include Hal Jordan," he told The Hollywood Reporter when asked about the chances of Hal making an appearance in season four. "It would be great but I doubt it very much." Well, that's that then! This feels like a missed opportunity, especially as Green Lantern Corps is actually still five years away. Of course, Guggenheim could be bluffing, especially as we have a small screen Barry Allen...Hal starring in the upcoming movie really should't stop him showing up in Arrow, right?

Dumb if WB decides not to use him because he is on the big screen. As you said, they already have Barry, so....

They should have Green Lantern on Flash or Arrow to help build him up again

I don't really understand the point of Oliver going to Coast City unless maybe he ends up working for Ferris and maybe he is the test pilot that goes missing over Lian Yu. If it's not Hal or Oliver, maybe the test pilot is Savitar who becomes a speedforce conduit.

@KurtWagner1225

Just like I enjoy Smallville or Batman and Robin.

I still hope they can make a proper Green Arrow show on HBO. A man can dream.

If you cant show Hal, how about having Kyle or Alan Scott show up? That would be great also....especially having Alan be referenced by Jay..

Hal Jordan is too low-rent for the CW.

Wouldn't mind Hal appearing on Legends Of Tomorrow since Mac Guggenhiem and his tumblr groupies doesn't have their claws in that yet.

Arrow can't do shit lol!!! I feel like WB [frick]s Arrow over more than Flash and even Suprgirl. Flash can still exist even with a flash film coming and supergirl can show and mention superman.
