Special Features For Upcoming AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Blu-Ray Release Revealed

Yeah...we're not getting a Director's Cut of Avengers: Age of Ultron! We can however look forward to the list of special features below. There's nothing particularly exciting there (the lack of a One-Shot is to be expected, though no Phase 3 sneak peak is somewhat disappointing), but hopefully those deleted and extended scenes end up being pretty good. An audio commentary with Joss Whedon should also be good fun, but here's hoping it ends up being included on more than just the US version this time as that stirred up a fair bit of controversy back in 2012. Anyway, check out the full list of special features and back cover art below! What do you guys think of this list of extras?

  • From The Inside Out - Making Of The Avengers: Age Of Ultron
  • The Infinite Six
  • Global Adventure
  • Deleted & Extended Scenes [With Audio Commentary By Joss Whedon]
  • Gag Reel
  • Audio Commentary With Director Joss Whedon

Do we get a Bruce / Natasha forced relationship cut?? With even MORE forced affections!
But seriously I want more scenes with the twins and the quicksilver endings. Also wanna see the scene of ultron rising from molten metal like what was teased in the trailer

"Are we getting that Director's Cut?" No, they confirmed we weren't a while ago.

Ray Fisher is on 'The Astronaut's Wives Club' on ABC right now. Check it out, or don't. Yvonne looks pushed, someone give that girl some proper acting gigs!

This is just for a 1 disc release. Although we shouldn't get our hopes up, we could still see a 2-disc edition with more extras (and possibly an extended cut, however unlikely).

@Th0rOdinson

he looked better in first Avengers. They gave him so many details he started to resemble Mark Ruffalo too much ;)

Yeah, that Director's cut ain't happening sadly, MANNN, what if we get one for Civil War though? Lawwwd!

To be honest, I think it was a clever idea to add more to Hawkeye's personal love life and family, but all of that time there could've been switched and used to give Ultron more scenery in regards to his vibranium fusion and etc. This film was just fast paced and tried to keep up with itself far too much. Instead of using QS and Scarlet Witch they could've just used Black Panther and had Douglass play a large role as the overseer of the Avengers/informant about Ultron and his motives. That way when we got Ant-Man it would've been a smooth transition of passing the torch.

Ike did no wrong. He led Marvel out of the black, so have some goddamn respect.

Perlmutter's worth 1.9 billion dollars. Wouldn't be a bad idea to try and 'Raising Arizona' him. Milk that puppy dry.

I actually didn't mind it in the beginning, but as the film continued I was just like REALLY? I wonder if we'll see her hook up with Bucky though? That's a completely more worthy relationship than her and Hulk.

More Ultron scenes could mean more chaos. And he was already chaotic character. If the villain can't make us understand his motives then what's a point ... (still i know you would need to rewatch AOU to understand this character more)

I love this movie. I really just wish it was about 10 to 15 minutes longer to beef up some plot threads. Like more ultron scenes, twns scenes, and the thor in the cave scene. This movie just doesn't fit into a 2hour 10 min runtime.

@jerryblake

I've watched AoU once at the theater and about three other times on bootleg. So I get where you're coming from in regards to "understanding his motives" (which were actually pretty easy and predictable to understand) However, I'm not fully following you through in regards to more scenes featuring the character being more chaotic for the films sake? They teased this scene in the trailers and even showed concept art of Wakanda or something of that sort that obtained more details in regards to how these things played out with the character. Even the scene when he encounters QS and SW it was just weird and awkward seeing them nonchalantly joining this gigantic android without even putting up a fight. lol Some things just really felt left out.

I don't get how Age of Extinction and Lord of the Rings can be over 2 and half hours long but Avengers can't? Age of extinction proved that you can still make over a billion dollars with a movie with a long runtime, and AOU was a much better quality movie. This is just something thats been irking me.

Does the Blu-Ray have the Hulk and Black Widow sex scene that gave us that fantastic gif?
