RUMOR: These Are The Movies Marvel's Scrapped Creative Committee Consulted On

Much has been made of the Creative Committee, which apparently played a role in Kevin Feige's decision to separate Marvel Studios from Marvel Entertainment & CEO Ike Perlmutter, but which movies did the group get involved with? The answer to that may surprise you...

As you've likely heard by now, the Marvel Entertainment Creative Committee made up of names like Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada, and Brian Michael Bendis will no longer be playing a role in the Marvel Studios movies. They've been blamed for Edgar Wright leaving Ant-Man and providing notes which disrupted the development of many of their projects. Now, Bleeding Cool has revealed the movies which were most influenced by this group, and it's a pretty interesting list.

Those were apparently Iron Man, Avengers, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Captain America: Civil War. Those they didn't work on were Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, and Avengers: Age Of Ultron. While I'm not doubting the site's sources, they're taking a very anti-Kevin Feige approach with these stories, and the fact that the movies they've been told the Creative Committee didn't work on are all the divisive and controversial ones makes me wonder if those passing on this information can be trusted (especially as The Hollywood Reporter very much painted the committee as the bad guys). What do you think?

I don't know, this would be pretty crazy if it's true

Those were apparently Iron Man, Avengers, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Captain America: Civil War.

Well those include 3 of the best Marvel films. What didn't they work on?

Those they didn't work on were Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, and Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

If this is true then the future for the MCU may look very bleak indeed but what about the Thor movies have they not said anything about does?

So I guess the reason the Thor films are so meh is because nobody wants to work on them.

WAKA WAKA!!!!!

If this is true some people are gonna look so dumb. And to say they weren't involved in some of the great movies is absurd.

The list is too accurate to what everyone else thinks, people lose their minds(in a good way) over films like Iron Man and Winter soldier and lost their shit over Iron Man 3, Avengers 2, Iron man 2. Seems like a bullshit way to paint the situation in a negative way. Both Gunn and the russo's said they had an unprecedented amount of freedom with their films. So yeah, I reiterate my point: This is pure bull.

then, who worked on the remaining unnamed films like Thor 1 and 2 and TIH?
this smells like BS. they were hampering the development of the movies that turn out to be the best ones in the MCU? yeah, that doesn't add up with what we've been told previously.

So it might turn out that Marvel's Creative Committee were the ones making these movies great, and Feige was the one making them all muddled up? Shiiiiiieeeeeettttttt...

@Omarvls
I'm thoroughly enjoying the sarcasm(sincere), but in all seriousness, this seems entirely made up, and not in a frenzied panic denial-sort of way, but more in a "my bullshit meter is off the charts" sort of way.

Woah Woah Woah. Idk even [frick]ing know anymore but it's clear there was always some type of creative dictator at marvel and it was either those guys or Feige or someone else.

and why would you have a creative commitee work just on a few selected projects as opposed to all of them?

Wait, how could they not have worked on AOU when Feige used its "failure" to break free of them?

It will be interesting to how future Marvel films will be. Will they be better or worse?

One of the reasons I didn't get hyped with the news before. Never know if this deal will be better or not. People like us have no idea how things work in the background, this Perlmutter guy could of been the magic sauce that the MCU needs.

Not surprised that they were responsible for the good MCU movies. I was convinced that Phase III was in trouble before this news. This just affirms what I have thought all along.
