Tom Hiddleston Reveals Crazy Reason Why 'Loki' Was Cut From AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
As you may recall, Tom Hiddleston was supposed to make a cameo appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron during Thor's dream sequence. Well, the actor spent a day filming those scenes, but the ridiculous reason why they were cut from the movie will definitely surprise you...
That's right, dumb test audiences are what robbed us of what was no doubt a very cool cameo featuring Tom Hiddleston's Loki in Avengers: Age of Ultron! As the Crimson Peak star explains in the video above, they for some reason assumed that the scene was leading to the reveal that the God of Mischief was in control of the android, hence why Kevin Feige and Joss Whedon understandably felt like it was necessary to remove it from the movie. It sounds like Loki's role was fairly sizeable, so it's confusing why Marvel didn't include the scene on the DVD and Blu-ray, but it could just be that they're saving it for that upcoming Phase 2 box set.
