Go beyond the movie to experience what it’s like to BE Spider-Man like never before. Set shortly after the events of Columbia Pictures’ new film, The Amazing Spider-Man throws New York City’s brand new hero back into free-roaming, web-slinging action, as he protects the Big Apple from a deluge of unimaginable threats. Experience the new Web Rush mechanic as Spidey twists his way through the NYC skyline with unprecedented speed and grace. The game’s original story also explores beautiful indoor environments, as you’ll encounter everything from skirmishes with everyday street thugs to pulse-pounding confrontations with Spider-Man’s most lethal foes.

Many thanks to Twitter's @Marvel_Spider for the heads up.

RELEASE DATE: June 26th, 2012.

Does anybody actually use the Playstation move? I have a PS3 and I have never, ever felt the urge to buy one. Nor have I a kinect for 360. It seems like they are just fads that are dying off.

That costume looks like a Texture-map nightmare. They tried too hard to divert from the Raimi suit that was simply near perfect!

@RidiculousFanBoyDemands I bought a Move for my Playstation, played on it for like an hour, and I've regretted it ever since

Just from what we've seen recently with the trailers, still pics, and etc., I think that this is going to be another great Spidey. I'm hoping that they'll at least give us free-roam similar to either Spider-Man 2 the video game or Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. They had some wicked free-roams in those game. :)

I remember at one point, it was explained that it was a type of static electricity, not the spines that come out of his appendages (in the Raimi films), that enables him to stick to things. Which became a problem when he fought Electro... Anyway, maybe that'll explain the sneaker scenario.

This suit is looking better each time I see it. I would even go as far as to say, I prefer it to the Raimi version. It might have only been five years and I know the Raimi costume is much more in line with tradition but this one feels more modern and stylised. It looks like a costume a teenage kid would design. The gloves look like a pair of mountain biking gloves I own. You can see he has used resources, that were available to him, rather than it being a costume which looks like it has been in a the tailor's shop for weeks, possibly months. In short I'm loving it.

I always laugh my a$$ off when i hear people "The pose looks like that" "The pose is ripped from that"...

It's the frigging Spider-Man, he always had that pose when swinging, from every possible angle lol.

Oh and people arguing about Raimi's Spidey pose? Really?

Looks good for the cover art. And I see it says play station move compatible. So on Xbox it's kinect compatible. Hopefully it's not though..... But it cold offer something fun and new. But still the covers pretty good.
