Mark Ruffalo Has A Six Picture Deal With Marvel; Reveals Bruce Banner-Centric Deleted Scene

Talking to Collider, Mark Ruffalo has confirmed that he is signed up to star in SIX Marvel Studios movies. As for deleted scenes, he added, "There's a great scene with me and Harry Dean Stanton. It's an elongated version of him finding me that is such a great scene. It was so heartbreaking to see it go. I knew exactly why it had to go, but Harry Dean Stanton is so beautiful in this scene and it's such a great moment for Banner. A real shift for him. It's his come to Jesus moment of the movie." He also talks about reading the script for the first time and the humour of the film, so be sure to check out the video interview above for that.

STARRING:

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man
Chris Hemsworth as Thor
Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye
Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Ramanoff/Black Widow
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury
Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson
Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill
Tom Hiddleston as Loki

RELEASE DATE: April 26th, 2012. (UK) May 4th, 2012. (US)

Dammit, I actually had a feeling there might have been more to that scene originally! Because we are kinda missing the push that Banner needs to get him to believe the Hulk can be a force for good, plus HDS is one of the true American legends.

I do not know where or when the IM3 hulk was debunked but if you just understand the "we all say goodbye" scene in the Avengers, i think the scene kind of paves the way for a Tony + Bruce relationship.

By the way, don't care what anyone says, The Leader is a [frick]ing ridiculous looking, rubbish villain:)
MassExecutions

@RorMachine - Yeah, he's kinda ridiculous looking now, but they thought that was how smart critters ought to look at the time. Remember the alien in the Twilight Zone episode, To Serve Man? High foreheads were in. Now its exposed brains that are more the trend, which is why they changed his look for awhile.

I think The Leader can be a pretty good villain, like in some of the early stories and when used on a bigger level, like the Gamma World arc on EMH. The problem is they had to keep coming up with ridiculous reasons for him to ONLY fight the Hulk. Forcing him into those confines ruins him sometimes by making him look like kind of an idiot.

I was never a fan of Norton as Banner something about him seemed out of place, but I've seen The Avengers twice now and the chemistry between Ruffalo and RDJ was perfect I couldn't seen it being that easy and relaxed if it was Norton.
