FAN ART: BREAKING BAD Star Bryan Cranston As X-MEN Villian MISTER SINISTER
Over the weekend, Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston shared his interest in bringing to life one very nasty Marvel villain, that villain being of course the popular X-Men foe Mister Sinister. BossLogic has released his latest piece, reimagining Cranston as Sinister. Come check it out!
In case you hadn't heard, over the weekend at New York Comic-Con, Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) revealed to those in attendance that he would love to portray a very nasty Marvel villain, whose identity he revealed as the popular X-Men adversary Nathaniel Essex, better known as Mister Sinister. The crowd went wild after the exchange and we can all just hope 20th Century Fox caught wind of his comments, because it would be quite perfect casting. Additionally, it wouldn't be the first time Fox decided to cast an actor that showed interest in one of their X-Men roles as they previously cast Channing Tatum (The Hateful Eight) not long after he revealed his interest in the fan-favorite Gambit.
The timing of Cranston's suggestion couldn't have been more impeccable as the X-Men franchise prepares to transition its focus onto a new generation of mutants led by X-Men stalwarts Cyclops, Jean Grey, & Storm. With Magneto & Apocalypse already on the scene, Mister Sinister would be an ideal villain for this younger generation of mutants to battle as the long-running film series moves forward.
Earlier today, the talented BossLogic released his latest piece and it's a pretty cool look at Cranston reimagined as Sinister. Check out the full piece below:
