Though it was snapped back in March, this Avengers: Age of Ultron set photo features a better look at Jeremy Renner in his Hawkeye threads which are somewhat reminiscent of his look in the comics.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, with Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Spader. The film is set for release on May 1, 2015.

That's pretty bland looking compared to the other character's costumes, but if this were a FoX-Men film, he'd look straight up flamboyant.

And I like those types of designs. Even if fox started to go that route with some of the X-Men characters I'd be down with it. Realistic and classic combined is a good look for superhero flicks. Well...some!

True, true but a version similar to the one posted by @Batfleck or that ultimate futuristic one would be pretty dope man. I wouldn't expect him to wear it during an entire film but as an a opening scene or something would be pretty cool.

Hawkeyes costume is just one of those comicbook costumes you don't 100% adapt to film. The cowl would look ridiculous in live action and is impractical. We should all be happy that he even has a costume that vaguely resembles the comics.
