Robert Downey Jr. Teases How Hulk Vs Hulkbuster Battle Ensues In AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Marvel let us know pretty early on that Hulk and Iron Man will throw blows at some point in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but Robert Downey Jr. has revealed what creates tension between Stark and Banner.

"Stark has set Banner up to be able to continue his good works in Stark Tower, and Tony has a project of his own," Robert Downey Jr. told Entertainent Weekly during a video interview at Comic-Con. "So, it's one of those things where it's like your second development team 'Hey, how is it going over there, that looks really nice and green; can I talk to you about this other idea I have'. This project, or idea, that Tony Stark has is creating Ultron so that the "world doesn't have to count on" Avengers, but evidently it "winds up not being a good idea." He continued, "Bruce is dubious as to the moral psychology of this project idea of Tony's. And It's nice because it sets up a little bit of tension between us." "It sort of blows up," added Mark Ruffalo. This tension between Stark and Banner will seemingly lead up to the Hulk vs. Hulkbuster battle sequence in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Speaking of Tony Stark's new project and Hulk-busting armor, Marvel has provided an even closer glimpse of both on display at Comic-Con! What do you think?

Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Cobie Smulders Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, with Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Spader. The film is set for release on May 1, 2015.

Interesting and this does make a lot of sense for their tensions. But I wonder if the rumors of the scepter controlling Hulk and his attack on the Leviathan that Strucker has is true too.

Some might complain that we already had the Avengers squabble in the first film, but, I think it's great that jist because they have the same goal doesn't mean everything is suddenly going to be peaches and cream all the time. They are still people, and, this type of escalation stemming from a simple difference of opinions sounds very relatable. It's also a bonus that it echoes the dysfunctional family dynamic from the source. At the end of the day, this will likely be an exciting fight scene with a meaningful buildup.

You guys ever realize how Avengers: Age of Ultron is starting to sound/look more and more like an adaption of the comic book arc of the same name, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is starting to sound/look more and more like The Dark Knight Returns?

Lmao, I personally liked the arc. Makes for a great film. Now if Joss is willing to use that arc for a film, he should next use 'Infinity' for Avengers 3.

I could have sworn they said already the Hulk/Hulkbuster fight is because Strucker uses the staff and Hulk thinks he's seeing a leviathan... Could be that I was just drunk though.

@JoJo1982 @figgins007 did you see people even attempting to film the footage or were their security guards stationed all over watching the crowd? I'm wondering if the person who recorded and uploaded this audio only used like a voice recorder or ripped the audio from his video and just posted that instead.

Hard to believe that in this day and age of micro-cameras that no one shot any decent video of the AOU footage. Maybe they're just (wisely) waiting for "the heat to die down," and it will be showing up any day now...!

@antman8o8 There was so much security. They were hired by marvel so there was the comic con security then there was private security. If they caught you, you would definitely be taken out back and interrogated by Kevin Feige haha. But it's a lot easier to record audio then it is video. Just let me say this. The avengers footage made me completely forget about batman v superman. Marvel really has raised the bar...

@figgins007 I'm just hoping Marvel does the awesome thing and puts it in front of Guardians of the Galaxy this Friday. Wishful thinking I know. The movie is going to take the box office as is, if people found out that teaser was in front of GotG (which would makes sense for Marvel) even more people would go see the movie.
