In new and mysterious Avengers: Age of Ultron character profile graphics discovered on Reddit, more promotional artwork is revealed as well as intriguing details surrounding the origins and abilities of James Spader's titular villain and Paul Bettany's the Vision. According to the former character's profile, Ultron is "first discovered as a simple computer program hidden among the ruins of the Chitauri invasion of New York" before being experimented on by Iron Man, aka Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). "Setting out to exterminate all life on the planet, the unstable and emotional Ultron seeks to upgrade its mechanical body to an ultimate, unstoppable form. With an army of robotic drones and the ability to enter and corrupt any computer network, Ultron will stop at nothing to see humanity wiped out." It was previously declared that the Vision would be created by Ultron in The Avengers sequel, but the humanoid's profile suggests he will be programmed by the combined geniuses of Tony Stark & Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and imparted with the ability to fly, project intense energy beams and change the density of his form." It also confirms the Vision will indeed help the Avengers take on their new artificial intelligence foe. Check out the art, which also features the Black Widow. What do you think?

Wonder if the "hive" technology that ended up defeating the Chitauri is used by Ultron to create his bots? Bet he doesn't fall for that trick again?

I'm not sure what I think of this, it takes away the impact of Tony Stark creating the thing that almost destroys the world.

batz11 - 12/30/2014, 8:10 AM
Yeah Dev, think Stark and Banner mess with it, probably had a hand in creating Ultron's bots or tech used for them, etc.

Little disappointed that Ultron is originally an alien A.I. rather than purely created by Hank Pym or Tony Stark...

"Vison's backstory seems confusing as [frick] but I can't wait to see his powers."

Pretty sure Vision is Jarvis... hence why it states he was made by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. Ultron then giving him a physical form. Then Vision will betray Ultron and join the Avengers.

I'm hoping the "invasion ruins" means something like a hidden vault belonging to Pym being discovered.

Since Ultron now seems to be from the Chitauri, and the Chitauri seem to be on loan from Thanos, what if Ultron is a form of ISAAC?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISAAC_%28comics%29

"what if Ultron is a form of ISAA"

Would'nt be suprised if Ultron is connected to Thanos to an extent...

This might be a stretch…..BUT….it doesn't say the computer program IS Chitauri. It says it was found in the ruins of the NYC alien invasion.
Maybe (here is the stretch part) an NYC lab of Pym's is destroyed in the attack, Iron Man discovers the program, adapts it, and 'viola' we have Ultron.

Dumb theory…but a theory nonetheless.
