A brand new theatrical poster has finally been released in anticipation of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it features the whole gang, including the Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, the Vision, as well as the titular villain's evil robot army. In addition to Idris Elba, Hayley Atwell, and Stellan Skarsgard, buried in the credits is also confirmation that Anthony Mackie will be returning as Sam Wilson, aka the Falcon, even though the Captain America: The Winter Soldier actor has denied it very recently. Furthermore, according to Badass Digest, those additional credits are cameos that will come into play during hallucination/nightmare sequences in Age of Ultron. Anyhow, as the one-sheet also reveals that four-time Oscar-nominated composer Danny Elfman, who worked on the original Hulk and Spider-Man movies, will bring "additional material" to Brian Tyler's score, what do you think?

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Avengers: Age of Ultron May 1, 2015.

I hate to be "that asshole," but it's kind of underwhelming and almost looks like a fan poster.
Putting aside my issues with the first movie, Avengers had a better poster (except for Cap the giant)

But it's pretty awesome we get to see Vision on some "final" art, even though it's just a silhouette

Lame. Nothing new and too photoshopped like any avengers promo art. And it's so, so annoying to see Robert Downey's face and Chris Evans face and Xhris hems worth face and ... Etc, I see American actors not superheroes. :(

How is it possible for Marvel to make some of the worst posters? I'll never be able to figure it out.

Looking at the poster for the first avengers, vs this, it's cool to see how much of a confidence shift marvel have had with Cap. Great to see him front, and center.

The Twins hanging off the side of the poster like that is really skeeving me out.

Hate to say it, but the poster's kinda lazy =/

@koolaidbag

me too. Cap is certainly one of the MCU's best developed and most badass characters, it'd be a shame to shove him into the back.

LOL @ thinking that Robert Downey Jr is in charge of whether or not Cap gets to be front and center or not.

Also LOL @ thinking that Joss Whedon is to blame for how the poster looks.
