FAN ART: See Tom Hardy As The New WOLVERINE

With the Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman, recently naming Tom Hardy as his successor for Fox's eventual X-Men reboot, the brilliant BossLogic has provided a very impressive visual of the Mad Max: Fury Road star as the clawed superhero mutant. Check it out after the jump!

Since Hugh Jackman is gearing up to play the Wolverine one last time in his third solo movie, the Aussie actor revealed during an MTV interview yesterday that he would like to see Tom Hardy as his replacement if/when 20th Century Fox reboots the mutant character. Less than 24 hours later, the super-talented artist @BossLogic has come through with an awesome visual representation of how the Mad Max: Fury Road star might actually look as the Wolverine. What do you think?

Too bad Disney would never let this foul-mouthed, alchohol-binging, murderous killing machine smoke an evil cigar on camera...

He would be a great choice.

That is the funniest, ugliest thing I've seen all day. Please. God. No. He's got a receding hairline and he's just NOT Wolverine. Tyler Hoechlin, on the other hand, could do the role justice.

He comes across more as a good Sabretooth to me.

@kaijunexus a wolverine netflix show would be badass though....on his origins. That'd be dope

@obredaan

I think, subconsciously, I just assumed that Fox would never have the balls to outright recast Wolverine...so my comment was based on the (likely impossible) notion that Marvel re-aquired the rights somehow.

Oh how I wish the MCU could be whole...

Tom Hardy is one of the best actors around today, and he was such an awesome guy when I met him, but to this I'd have to say no, not at all.

I'm looking forward to him portraying Sam Fisher however...

I like it. I think Hardy could make a cool Wolvie. I'm not are that anyone will ever play the part as well as Jackman has, but I'm open to other interpretations.

After Hughes Last Logan movie, they should plan for a Origin Reboot and make it friggin as BadAss as Deadpool. Dark, Bloody and Violent.
LIKE THIS... the wolverine xbox game...

@TheCantilope

Wow, do you actually think some shitty TV actor could bring more to this role than Tom Hardy??

@slickrickdesigns

After Apocalypse they should do X-Men vs Weapon X and have the new Wolverine be introduced that way.

Not gonna lie...At first its a little disconcerting.

Take away those wispy greyish ghost hairs around his head and mutton chops and you get a much better idea of what he'd look like as Wolvie.

You gotta kinda stare at it for a few seconds like one of those annoying 3d stereogram posters that were all the rage a few years ago.

Personally I think he'd make a better Frank Castle, and this is in no way shitting on Bernthal AT ALL, I just think that Hardy fits that role better than he does Logan, especially if they ever decide to use Castle on the movie side

I think he'd make a killer Cable actually. Give him gray hair, the eye scars and trademark glowing left eye and team him up with Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2, then do X-Force.

Dude is gonna need a wig.

Love Tom Hardy but truth be told he is very nearly bald.

Hmmm... I can't say that's working for me, personally.

And no, Marvel in general did away with their characters smoking long ago. It was a lazy visual cue anyway
