While principal photography isn't set for a few weeks, signs have been posted in the financial district of New York City alerting civilians that filming for Marvel & Joss Whedon's highly-anticipated
The Avengers movie is commencing. While the sign, via
Samir, names the film "Group Hug", it's been
confirmed that
that would be the production title for the crossover extravaganza.
While the degree of filming is unknown, primary filming for the Joss Whedon-directed flick is set for Albuquerque, New Mexico in the coming weeks. And soon after, in Cleveland, Ohio. And it was also announced that partial filming will occur at Grumman Studios, also located in New York City.
