Yet again sourced from the devious IMDB, a user has posted plausible details regarding Marvel's highly-anticipated superhero ensemble flick The Avengers. Foremost sourcing his material, "I or a very close friend is close to the production and just recently watched a scene between Mark Ruffalo, Sam Jackson, RDJ, and Scarlett Johansson," he further states he doesn't know everything about the film, but rather interesting tidbits. With a spoiler warning, check out what he has to say.
Agent Coulson does NOT die as some previous rumors claimed (He's not a Skrull either).
Captain America's new suit looks amazing from what I or my friend have seen/heard :P. Similar to his costume in Captain America: TFA but the gray straps on his upper torso are gone, the blue is a darker yet more vibrant blue, the star on his chest is bigger, and the red stripes on his abdomen area are actual stripes on the costume and not part of the straps. It also looks less like hockey pads and more like a sleek costume. Very Avengers worthy.
Thor does not return to Earth until roughly the half way mark. We have scenes showing him in Asgard before this however.
Ruffalo's Banner is very much a scientist and geek from what I've seen. He surpasses Norton 100 times over IMO.
I/my friend have yet to see Renner as Hawkeye but I think his appearance is going to be similar to Scarlett's in Iron Man 2 in regards to screen time.
This is one I'd like to clear up, NO ANT-MAN OR WASP. As of right now they are NOT in the film unless they're put in later as a cameo/mention.
That I know of, there are 2 references/Easter Eggs to other characters, Black Panther, and Vision. From what I've fathered I think they're alluding to Tony Stark being the creator or at least part of a team that creates Vision but DON'T quote me on that one.
Throughout the movie the team wont really have one specific leader, it's going to be a lot of pushing and pulling for the top spot because in each members eyes, they are the most qualified and they're not interested in following.
Lastly, the movies villain(s). Sorry to disappoint folks but no, the Skrulls are not the villain(s). I wont reveal who other than Loki plays a villainous role because it's just too good of a plot point to spoiler for you guys. The Skrulls will be mentioned/alluded to, possibly for a sequel? It's possible.
