Captain America: The First Avenger focuses on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull. Starring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hayley Atwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Stanley Tucci and Hugo Weaving, the film releases July 22, 2011.

Holy Hell Red Skull looks so freaking AWESOME!!! That honestly has to be some of the best make-up I have ever seen. My boss and I just sat here for a few minutes trying to figure out where they put his nose. I am so psyched for this movie!!!

The below image intrigues me. Falsworth wears the rank of a Brigadier, so unless the costume department didn't give a shit, this must be set several years later. With the three men looking a lot the same. Infinity formula, anyone?

Every new detail that comes out about this movie makes me want to see it even more. In these pictures everything from the detail of the Red Skull's red skin to his overly huge and beautiful tank car to what the Howling Commandoes are talking about.

The one thing that I don't understand is why Bucky looks so sickly in that last picture.

@ROBBEATZZZ - calm down. As VictorHugo said the director stated he will not be throwing the shield all the time but only a few throws so those will be special moments.

I think it's cool because there's no explanation on how he throws his shield constantly and it always returns to him. There's no magic involved like in Mjolnir. If it's calculated and all, with more slowly paced footage is required to show he's doing the math, it can't be used constantly.
