Samuel L. Jackson Dishes On The Avengers Set Experience And Role Expansion!

Foremost rehashing on theft of his script, 'Nick Fury' actor Samuel L. Jackson also details seeing the team assembled, as well having a prominent role in The Avengers!

In a recent video chat with BBC, the actor behind 'Nick Fury' in Marvel Studios' superhero team-up film, The Avengers, Samuel l. Jackson reiterates getting his script stolen, and ultimately discusses seeing the actors together suited up on set. Also dotting on having an actual role throughout the film, rather than cameos, watch the video interview below!

With filming currently underway, the folks from On Location Vacations were recently tipped a minor update, along with a couple non-revealing images from the Ohio set. They're apparently filming inside the abandoned DHL facility. And as you can see below, the shoot involves a military plane. And it's very likely these specs could make up what's being filmed.

Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. With director Joss Whedon at it's helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Clark Gregg (Agt. Phil Coulson), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), with Tom Hiddleston (Loki Laufeyson), and Stellan Skarsgard (Professor Erik Selvig), the film releases worldwide May 4, 2012!

I have a feeling The Avengers will disappoint. The Avengers don't have the spark and dynamics that Justice League had simply because majority of the world don't know much about the relationships between each character and its history.

@JasonBlue, IMO Justice League doesn't have the affect of "What?! All these characters are in the SAME MOVIE?! That's crazy!" The way the Avengers does. Their backgrounds and personalities just seem like they have more potential to provide very interesting interactions. Steve and Tony is one I'm especially interested in. Justice League just seems to come together more easilly, making the interactions less appealing for me. I love the animated series, and I'd love to see a movie, but it just doesn't feel like it would be as good, especially the way DC is doing it's movies right now. Nolan is putting out greatness with a Batman that he insists exists in a world with no superheroes. Green Lantern was a major disappointment, and aisde from Superman they can't seem to get their act together to get something else rolling.

Of course He didn't mention Ruffalo as Hulk becuz everyone wants to hear about Hulk...not Thor, not Cap or IronMan cuz they already seen what these guys will look like in their uniform.

Everyone wants to see a clip of what Ruffahulk is going to look on screen smashing buildings & flipping cars and Marvel is so smart of keeping the suspense and just teasing a bit until it gets closer to May 4th.

Marvel isn't stupid!

They are saving the best for last!! YEAH!!!!

@JasonBlue "The Avengers don't have the spark and dynamics that Justice League had simply because majority of the world don't know much about the relationships between each character and its history."

I totally disagree. I think the Avengers have a way more interesting relationship than the justice league. I mean in Justice League, everyone but Batman is pretty much a pure-good type hero, all about old fashioned justice, there's no real friction. Flash, Lantern, Supes and WW are all on pretty much the same wavelength, even Batman doesn't have much friction with them any more.

Plus they're all naturalised heroes all comfortable with their environment, with Avengers you have a God, a man from the past and a billionaire playboy (yes I'm aware that WW is an amazonian, supes is an alien and Wayne is a playboy, though Batman is most definitely not, while both Stark AND Iron Man have the same attitude)

You geeks are funny Talking about This like its a comic book. First off all DC comics Suck besides Superman and Batman. Fact end of discussion. Secondly this is a mother [frick]ing movie folks. This movie has MOVIE STARS. A Samuel Jackson, Robert Downy Jr, and Scarlet Johanson Film would be a big deal if int weren't a "super hero" Movie. Futhermore, they are in a movie written and directed by Joss Wedon. Are you [frick]ing kidding me you comic book geets. This MOVIE is going to rock and Kick ass. It has a chance of matching the Dark Knight Rises and Christopher Nolan is a Movie making Savant.

Seeing Black Widow and Captain America go at sometimes not dressed would be pretty saucy, if you ask me. Wonder how the super soldier serum affected his second in command, if you get my hint. Scar Jo might be in a bit of a tight spot if it came to a little hand to hand.

Does anyone know the chronological order of the Marvel movies?

I read yesterday that The Incredible Hulk actually took place after Iron Man 2 and now I'm totally confused.
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 8/4/2011, 4:01 PM
@ JaySin420 chronological order....

1. Captain America
2. Iron Man
3. Iron Man 2
4. Thor
5. Incredible Hulk.

Incredible Hulk and Thor overlap a bit. Same with Iron Man 2.
DCMarvelFreshman
DCMarvelFreshman - 8/4/2011, 4:12 PM
@JaySin420 Yeah, FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey is right.

The scene in The Incredible Hulk, where Hulk battles the military on the campus, occurs shortly after Iron Man 2's final battle sequence.

Watch the scene in Iron Man 2, where Coulson tells Tony hes going to New Mexico. And in Thor, the scene where we actually see Coulson going to the hammer, should hint at where Thor's place in the timeline comes in.
