Iron Man Promo Art Featured On New Avengers: Solo #1 Variant Cover!

Courtesy of the ever-reliable RimBreaks, an early look at Iron Man's variant cover for The Avengers' movie comic tie-in, Avengers: Solo #1, has been revealed. While the concept isn't quite new, the cover joins last month's revealed of Thor and Captain America; seemingly with only the Hulk remaining.






Marvel's The Avengers is the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner with Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, directed by Joss Whedon, Marvel's The Avengers will be released May 4, 2012.

So glad they are going back to the CIRCLE chest RT; the triangle one just looked silly on film. Idk why.

But I think we can all expect a whole lot of Iron Man solo tie in's and Iron Man Avengers footage. Marvel is going to want to tie Avengers to him as much as they can to draw in the crowds....

Besides that, Hemsworth looks beastly...actually NORSE GOD like.....

And how cute.....Chris Evans dressed up for Halloween as Captain America........

What was that? That's his MOVIE WARDROBE!!!!

I love the art concept of Cap's cowl so much better than than the one in Avengers. I love how the ears are exposed in the concept art.

Just still not digging this helmet with the ear covers just yet..but hopeful that it will look good in movie

He actually has the cowl under the helmet, there might be a chance of seeing it without the helmet. You can see wings on the cowl in the trailer, when it's hanging down his back, taken off.

Cap looks way better showing hes ears!!! Please let there be a cowl looking like the art above. Maby there will be CGI-ears... strange.

@DarthLaney- sure hope it looks as good as it does on concept art.

Wouldn't make any sense as to why they show the ear on the art if they won't be exposed in the movie.
