this really needs to focus less on Black Widow because she was horribly miscast, and less on Hawkeye. they are secondary characters and should not have big story arcs. it is the Avengers, follow the actual players who have had movies one on their character, not the ones who guest appeared in a movie.

Anyone else notice that when it's fairly mediocre to shitty art, the teaser caption calls it "Stunning artwork", but when it's stuff done by fans that actually looks pretty awesome (for the most part) they refer to it as "Decent" lol

alot of it is good... the first one was really shitty though.

I actually wish more focus was on Black Widow, other wise the whole movie is going to be a full sausage fest of egos.

when i say the movie should focus more on the Actual characters who have had movies about their character alone i mean it. Hawkeye is awesome and i love the casting and he needs to be filled out more in a SHIELD or Nick Fury movie before he should have a starring part in something like the Avengers. because basically by making him a main character in this or focusing too much on him you are going to have a lot of confused people. figure maybe 15% of the movie going audience that will go to this, even know who Hawkeye is. Most of those who recognize Hawkeye from Thor are going to basically see him and ask "Why does the dude who almost shot Thor with an arrow have a main part in this?" Or for those who didn't catch or remember his cameo, they are going to ask "Who is the Hurt Locker dude supposed to be?"

and with Black Widow it is a similar problem, not as big a problem potentially as with Hawkeye but still noticeable.

the draws on Iron Man 1 and 2, Thor, TIH and Captain America were the guys whose played that top billed character. People didn't go see Iron Man 2 to see a Black Widow movie, they went to see Iron Man. those who saw Thor went to see Thor, same with TIH and Cap. nobody paid money to see a secondary character, and now that The Avengers is finally coming to fruition it makes no sense to take focus away from the headliners and focus too much on secondary characters.


and i will believe it until the day i die. Scarlet was horrible as Widow and should have been recast. just because she has a rockin' set of tits and looks damn good in a skin tight catsuit doesn't mean she was good in the role.
