Off the heels of learning that India will be watching next summer's most highly-anticipated superhero movie,
The Avengers, before the United States, I headed over to the
Facebook page promoting the country's release. And it seems we may have a new international trailer to look forward to over the weekend. At least that's what the below graphic points at. Check it out!
UPDATE #2: It seems the downside of our assumption has come to be true, with Disney representatives confirming to us that the trailer being promoted in the graphic for India is in fact, "the same trailer with nothing new at all. They have yet to debut it in India which is why they made an announcement for it." So, January 2012 we shall wait.
Unfortunately since this is only an assumption, there's a downside. And that downside could be that this "trailer" may just be the one that debuted in October, breaking iTunes records. However, something that makes me believe the trailer could be all-new is that the first one is already viewable on the Facebook page. So it'd be a little odd to promote something upcoming, that's already available at the same place it's promoted. Anyhow, Sunday is just two days away, so we shall see. What do you think?
