RUMOR: Vague Detail For THE AVENGERS' Post-Credits Scene Revealed?

There's a greater chance for this to be false than legit, but make the jump and bear with me as I've stumbled across what may be a revealing detail for The Avengers' stinger.

Considering where I stumbled across the following, once again, it's more likely to be falsified info rather than a legit spoiler for the guaranteed post-credits scene from Marvel's The Avengers. With that said, I specifically found this potential spoiler on IMDB's profile for the movie, involving an "uncredited" cast addition and who, or rather what, is listed they'll be portraying.

Now, considering J.J. Perry, a martial artist, actor and stuntman, has worked on X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Iron Man and Joss Whedon's Serenity, and that producer Kevin Feige has confirmed to expect a post-credits scene for The Avengers, those aspects of the rumor are more believable. And Feige has also been optimistic about developing a Doctor Strange movie, which could plausibly introduce the character as well vampires to Marvel's cinematic Universe; or Blade of course. But what do you think?

Marvel's The Avengers is the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner with Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, directed by Joss Whedon, Marvel's The Avengers will be released May 4, 2012.

God, I hope not. I'm sick of vampires. I prefer they explore the cosmic aspect of Marvel. And even if they did go mystic, vampires are the last group of mythic creatures I'd include.

-marvel goes cosmic, guardians of the galaxy.
-leads into dr.strange.
-a sneak peak into what might happen in the avengers 2.

Maybe it's a nod to the fans after Marvel regained the rights to Blade, a sort of welcome back, a joke asking if he wants to join The Avengers....but it's on IMDB remember, not always legit!

Ha, okay. Um...Morbius? No. IMDb gained a very little bit of my trust after that The Dark Knight Rises trailer description (which was true), but I don't see this makes any sense. Or we're going to see...but I don't really want to see this, either.

Not that IMDB is really reliable at all, but Marvel did announce that they'd recently re-acquired the film rights to Blade, didn't they?

Also, I'd be happy with this, because vampires in the Marvel Cinematic Universe mean we're one step closer to a possible Werewolf By Night movie, or at least an appearance of the character in another movie.

FALSE: The only thing that makes sense of this is the fact Marvel indeed has gotten back the rights to this character/franchise..

HOWEVER, I don't see Marvel taking a step backwards at the height of their success.. Brief cameo MAYBE. Setup scene at the end ABSOLUTELY NOT.

This sounds more like a fan's wishful thinking IMO..

Vampire? Or maybe a Batman perhaps. I bet they haven't even filmed a post credit scene yet. That man is full of baloney.

IF it is true, then Marvel could be giving a nod to the hero that not only revitalized the comic book movie genre, but got them on the road to thinking more ambitiously and more source material oriented.

Even though a lot of the CGI for the vampires looks laughably dated today, Blades' special effects, gear and flair were TIGHT. The Batman movies today especially have to thank Blade; asthetically speaking, this incarnation of Batman IS Blade from the first flick: sleek ride, simplistic gear, perpetually bleak atmosphere, heavy stylish melee action. Not really surprising, considering the writer for Blade is the man behind Batman Begins and the Dark Knight (David Goyer). But yeah, keep praising Nolan guys :)

Marvel wants to bring back Blade, we should all be for it. So long as they keep everyone from part 3 away.

This is most likely false. He is listed on the Avengers credits, but he is not credited to Avengers on his own filmography.
