FilmInk, Marvel Studios' president of production, Kevin Feige, surely elaborated on what's been a long road to a shared cinematic universe, and the most-anticipated assembly that will heavily showcase that,
The Avengers. Essentially confirming that there'd be "hints" in this film, that could pave the way for a roster alteration in the sequel, read on below.
"We had to have confidence in the direction in which we were heading," Feige explains. "When Marvel Studios regained all the rights to all these characters, we had the ingredients for The Avengers. It was midway through Iron Man that we introduced the organisation of S.H.I.E.L.D. to help the story. I thought that it would be fun to put a teaser with Nick Fury at the end to let fans know that this was possible."
"Spider-Man. The Fantastic Four, the first Hulk - all these had taken place in their own seperate universes. We have a lot of characters, but it's not too much," Feige assures. "It's the exact right amount to tell the original story of the formation of The Avengers. While there are certainly going to be hints to what may come in the future, this is the core team"
So while Feige confirmed earlier this year that a roster-change for
The Avengers sequel is guaranteed, it seems we can expect some hints as to who those Avengers may be early on. Who, that's plausible, would like to see join the team?
