Although we're in for an all-new trailer in the coming weeks, I recently stumbled across a Russian-dubbed trailer for Marvel's The Avengers movie, featuring new snippets of exciting footage. Seemingly featuring footage shown in the exclusive D23 screening, with screengrabs of the new snippets, check out the trailer below!

The trailer includes the memorable "I have an army"..."We have a Hulk" exchange between Loki & Tony Stark, along with a mili-second of new clips with Banner's rage face & Hulk's roar. There's also snippets with Loki whipping someone across the face, and Nick Fury with Hawkeye gazing at something out of the ordinary. And according to Russian translators, Black Widow is saying,"We weren’t trained for this," to Hawkeye.

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

They should leave Black Widow with her Russian dubbing in the film. Just put subtitles lol. Bc she's not selling the Russian thing

Am I the weird guy why doesn't care if the female lead is "hot or sexy". I would prefer some one who looks more like the character and also who is the better actress for the character.

Is it just me? Damn I must be crazy!

@TheRealEnrico If it weren't for Nine Inch Nails we wouldn't have

So enjoy it, it's quite decent.

Im a Marvel guy and love the notion of the universe but my only real criticism of the film trailers to date is the underwhelming prescence of Loki. I am not suggesting they show Thanos but in the Trailer they should start showing screen shots of the alien army

@MarvelWeiner

Marvel Studios utilized their first digital cinema camera for a feature film, the very amazing 35mm quality Arri ALEXA.

Stark Tower; Complete with Bar. Gotta love that.

Multiple aggressors. Fury and Hawkeye are looking in two different directions. And dude in the back has his gun drawn.

@gambitfreak I'm not slamming Nine Inch Nails. I'm saying Nine Inch Nails a really bad choice for trailer for a block buster.

I don't think it sounds good(for the trailer) and I know a lot of people would be turn off by it too.

They should think more broad. It doesn't appeal to me and I also don't think it is good or smart business.

You get my point?

@3D
But sadly Seamus McGarvey's cinematography is dull. Should
of went with someone like Newton Thomas Sigel, who actually knows how to make a film shot in digital look fantastic.

A friend of mine once called Scarlet a "Butherface".

...

In retrospect, I should have smacked him.

I like that she looks relatively normal: average. Hollywood average (beautiful as holy sin), sure, but still average.

@NeoBaggins Bwaha. As if the Alcoholic comes sold separately.

sistermercury - 12/28/2011, 11:21 PM
I do like that they added in that split second of Banner getting pissed, it actually looks like he's flipping out about something. In the US version, it kind of just looks like he's taking a bullet to the heart or something.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 12/28/2011, 11:25 PM
@TheRealEnrico I agree that the NIN joint kills any tone of epic business. But I'm assuming they're running the cliche structure as a quick, "cool", attention grabber. The next trailer should slow down and convey some of the story and character elements which usually means an actual score.

I'm guessing.
TheGambitFreak
TheGambitFreak - 12/28/2011, 11:26 PM
@TheRealEnrico yeah, I personally would've chose either of these 2.
