Two days remain until Walt Disney unveils the new theatrical trailer for Marvel's The Avengers long-awaited summer flick. Said to be more spoilerific than ever, the first potential deets via a StarkIndustriesRu forum user, transcribed by L-J, have hit the net. Only a rumor as of now, read the plausible vague details below!

"Translation: The new trailer was shown in 3D in front of John Carter press screening. Memorable moments:
1) Stark mocks Captain, calling him dressed clown
2) Huge caterpillar-like alien ship among skyscrapers (almost like the one in "Transformers 3")
3) Hulk runs after Black Widow, destroying the obstacles on his way (he has considerably increased in sizes in comparison with SuperBowl tv-spot)
4) Something shoots down Iron Man, he falls. Hulk catches him at the last minute. (Bumblebee liked doing similliar stuff with Sam in the "Transformers")
5) Stark reminds Fury of the final of Iron Man 2, where he was hired to do only consultation work.
6) Several new shots of Hulk in circle with others and some over the shoulder views.
7) Stark playfully hits Banner with a shocker and asks him in jocking way, how he was able to overcome his anger. Captain stands beside them and becomes indignant.

Prepare yourself, as during the trailer you will more than once recall citizen Bay and his Transformers movies."

Appearance/ Loki revealed the identity of the army? No.

Cant wait, I know imdb isn't a reliable source but they have it listed as a spoiler that it's Kree and skrulls. And not that it really matters:)

The Transformers comparisons (even without this new trailer) are inevitable, but it doesn't help to abate my worries about this movie. Something tells me that the wait for April 27th is going to get a little longer after tomorrow!

I heard the Transformers comparisons with the first trailer so that doesn't bother me.

These are likely the only new clips with Hulk, likely why they're most memorable. And then you have to think about if Hulk will be fully shown while chasing Widow, or catching Iron Man.

"Something shoots down Iron Man, he falls. Hulk catches him at the last minute"

"Stark playfully hits Banner with a shocker and asks him in jocking way, how he was able to overcome his anger"

Those were heard before.

Sounds legit.

I actually like this Transformers comparisons. It's a smart marketing strategy since the last movie made a billion dollars. Those kinds of scenes, while they won't dominate the actual movie, are put in the trailer to bring in the general audience.

It sounds good. If the action scenes, only the action scenes, as good as the ones in the Transformers trilogy than it will be amazing.

I don't care if it looks like Transformers at all as long as there is a ton of action and it makes a BILLION dollors in the box office. I like the way the Tranformers films just kept on kicking our ass and with an Armored Man, a God, a Monster and a Super Soldier it should have the same type of big action as Transformers. Is it me or does B-widow look tired and sick witha all the bags under her eyes. She looked so much better in IM2.

Oh hell yes! If there is some Bay caliber action with some Whedon caliber writing, we're in for a real mavenger[frick]in treat guys!

@blvdnoise: Easy, buddy. The running time of the movie is about 2 1/2 hours, so we still have about 2 hours long in the theatre... And, I don't think Marvel is spoiling stuff in Avengers trailer, they're not that stupid...

It's Transformers 4!! Lol u guys make me laugh.. Just because we've seen bits of the final battle with explosions in it? Michael Bay is the only director to blow shit up in a movie? You have 4 of the most powerful super heroes in the MCU in this movie. Did you think there'd be no action and explosions? It's a fight to defend the world! What did you guys expect??

as long as there's NO Michael Bay's CORNINESS, i'm fine if The Avengers has Transformers' action elements in it. cuz, how can you help NOT to when they're both about super beings having SUPER brawls down town, with big buildings, cars and running panic extras and cg people.

I like Joss Whedon.

We're lucky to have him in the movie. I've watched Serenity and it was great with only $40 mil. budget. And The Avengers have +/- $200 mil more so I'm glad with it.
