Including character designs and key art, some of which featured in the art book of the cinematic assembly, check them out below.

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; & “Thor 2” on November 8, 2013.

They pretty much stuck with Park's designs. I wonder if any of the depictions of the agents were intended for Coulson.

That's pretty much what we got for the most part. I don't think the Cap photo looks any better than the final version, since doesn't address the main problem which is that goofy helmet.

These all look pretty damn cool. Why in the hell wouldn't they use some of these? Like the Cap design, one of the Widow designs, the Hawkeye design. So much cool looking stuff here.

It's funny how most of the times, the concept designs not used look much better than the final choice.

D@mn, @DCMarvelFreshman. Nice find here, dude. ;)

As for those designs, I really love the S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform deisgns. It looks much better than what they already have for the agents. Not that it was horrible, but they could've put in a bit more to make it resemble that concept art. Really amazing. As for Captain America's design, I think that they should've added a bit more of the red and white stripes around the abdomen area. I don't like how they have that cut off with the white and the blue above that red-white stripe design. But besides that, I think this would've been great if they had used it in the film. But I still think they should've gone with this design for Cap's suit in the film....

(The one on the left is a much better design, IMO)

But I'm not disappointed with the final product. As for Hawkeye's, I have no complaints about it. All I will say that it is BAD@$$. That is it. For Black Widow, that second design for her suit would've been pretty sic to see on screen. :)

Looks f***in awesome. Cap looks pretty good. Glad they didn't go with that look for Black Widow. The last thing we needed was MORE blue energy effects.

That's amazing artwork! I hope Cap gets a new suit similar to that in CA:TWS. Especially the helmet!

@TheAmazingSpidey I take that back! The suit to the right in the picture is what I want to see.

I want Cap's ears exposed in his new suit. He looks so freakin dorky and dumb with his ears covered. They say it's to protect his ears in battle. That BS. Hawkeye didn't have anything protecting his ears, Black Widow didn't have anything protecting her fine, delicate ears. He looks better and more like Cap with his ears exposed.

I like Cap and I liked Evans in TFA but for some reason I didn't care for him in Avengers. I hope Cap is better in TWS and Avengers 2.

The 2nd Thor suit looks epic, seriously that needs to be used somewhere down the line; looks like a perfect mix of Ultimate and 616 Marvel...

As for Cap's suit, the ones TheAmazingSpidey63 posted looks pretty sweet; my only real gripe with the suit though was the belt should've matched the gloves, just to break up the colours a bit more; way too much blue...
