Marvel Studios already describes their highly-anticipated sequel to the No. 3 highest grossing film of all time, “Marvel's The Avengers,” as another “big cinematic event.” And expected to feature the reassembly of iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow & Nick Fury taking on a new unexpected enemy, new additions to the superhero team up of a lifetime are possible. Expecting reprisals from Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, and directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” sequel is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. And set for release May 1, 2015, the film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to the sequel, Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; and “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

@BrotherStarkofMABMindz why reuse a villian from the shitty 2003 movie, why not use a new one? THE LEADER ALL THE WAY

They did an incredible job, very Oscar worthy.

Jollem That's too funny. I actually remember watching that episode which has Thor in it... LOL.

[Frick]ing A, man. The Hulk just steals the show with The Avengers--just all the little details that they out into him, like bits of gray hair in Hulk's hair, the tiny hairs on his chin, the wrinkles on his face, the shade/tone of green for his skin, and the uncanny resemblance of Mark Ruffalo in him. It's just [frick]ing awesome. Mark, Joss and the crew that brought the Hulk to life in this film deserves a standing ovation over and over.

Stay EPIC, my friends!!

@Jollem - D@mn, dude......Seeing that just brings back memories. LoL, we came a LONG way from a guy in green make-up to a brilliantly made CGI Hulk. Hell, Thor came a long way, as well. XD

@53.... Ahh, same here, bro. Although I have not seen The Hobbit yet, I'm cheering for them, as well. Either way, both are just superb and such amazing films. ;)

The part where Hulk smiles at Cap after he to,d Hulk to simply "smash," it never ceases to give me the chills and make me chuckle. LoL, that's just something the Hulk would do, y'know? :)

@Jollem - Lmao, no sh!t, dude. That's where our new Thor fails at. I mean, jeez, Thor. Your [frick]ing 80's counterpart had his helmet on through an entire epsiode (for about a good half an hour), and yet you had your's on for merely 6-7 seconds? LoL, wow. :P

And d@mn, dude....Is that Daredevil? Haha, jeez. Almost forgot they did a Daredevil/Hulk team up. If I'm not mistaken (and correct me if I'm wrong), but I believe John Rhys Davies played Kingpin. Ahhhh, memories. :)

@Batz Hahaha!

They did such a great job. But it's too bad that this award is going to go to Life of Pi since it was the only reason it was made for

I hope more of this stuff is in the Phase One box set. I was kind of upset at the lack of special features that were on the Blu-ray release.

Hulk was definitely one of the best digital characters I've ever seen! ILM did a great job!

Now, will it actually win the Oscar? Well, that remains to be seen. It's got some tough competition.
