These just look too weird, especially the second pic of Widow, thank goodness these weren't used. The only one's that look good are the Fury and first Widow portrait.

I loved Avengers but I would've honestly dropped the whole "Hawkeye being under Loki's mind control." It should've been the Hulk. I just don't understand how at first the Hulk was ready to slap the ish out of Black Widow and then all of a sudden the Hulk is friends with everyone on the team?? The alien threat was incredibly weak. Like I couldn't even take it serious. Especially with all the non-stop jokes, it was just cheesy. But I still give it an 8.5/10 the action, effects, and scenery were completely beautiful.

Just honestly hoping that the sequel will be darker and more serious this go around. Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World looks like they're heading in that direction.

But then again I understand how hard it was to make such a film because they wanted to focus on new audience members who were all becoming familiar with these heroes for the first time.

But now that everyone knows who they are it's time to deliver twice as hard. And I know that's easy for me to say since I'm not the one making these films but as a fan I refuse to see characters dumbed down for the pleasure of a new audience.

Hulk was manipulated by Loki. Just not to the same degree as Hawkeye but when they were all arguing around the scepter, they were all slightly under the influence of it and the mind gem. Which is why the Banner/Hulk couldn't control himself; he wasn't in control of his own anger, Loki was.

Wow. I love all of them. But that Loki one just screams "MEGADETH!". The first Black Widow is the best, of course. But the rest are great. Need one of Hemsworth, Evans and Ruffalo, dammit!

@Ocelot Come on now.... She is fine....

@TheBlackWolverine I cannot count the times I have told everyone this. Rewatch the film! In TIH, you can see at the end Banner can control his anger. In Avengers, we find out the way he controls it is by channeling it, by always being pissed off. During the big argument scene in the Helicarrier where they are going off on one another for the SHIELD Nuclear Missles and what not, we see Black Widow go to Banner telling him to watch out cause Loki is trying to intercept his mind, with the help of the Mind Gem in his staff. Towards the end of the scene, Bruce reaches and grabs the scepter. Loki successfully tapped into his mind, hence, why he smiles when he hears Hulk roar. Hulk was being controlled.

During the big, final action sequence, Banner races towards where the beacon was alerting in the Helicarrier, Stark Tower, to help out the team, since he can control his power, it's a no-brainer he's in control of the jolly green giant.

Maybe the film just requires a higher thinking process than the average movie-goer, who knows. But it was done brilliantly. Joss mixed in the 1st Avengers villain from 616 universe, with the Ultimates and implemented the Thor vs. Hulk storyline, trading Echantress for Thanos' Mind Gem, genius!

Whedon and the Avengers is Way OVERRATTED. He stuck to the source material and that made him the greatest? Whedon doesn't' hold a candle to Nolan and I'm sick of seeing the fanboys put him on par with one of the greatest directors of all time.
