Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Marvel Studios will also release “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; the sequel to “Marvel's The Avengers” on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

Why would you even need that many discs? Blu-Ray 3D? Blu-Ray? DVD? Digital Copy?? Okay Music I understand but it just seems like a waste of money.

Never saw it in theaters but I was spoiled on what happened within the film. I guess I'll still enjoy. Besides I'm building a Blu-Ray collection can't wait to add it with the rest! I'm more pumped for The Wolverine on Blu-Ray (unrated cut) :D $$$$$$

despite that "twist" that got me a little angry, I'm buying just to build my Marvel Cinematic Universe, I know it has some "clues" for future movies so it will be cool to see them, later in the future and to say;
'ah! that's why happened back then'
kinda moment....!

The commentary on this sucks, though Drew Pearce is funny. Some of the ideas they talk about are great but I don't think they were pulled off well in the movie.

Pretty sucky supplementary material actually, even with the one shot I felt short changed (and I borrowed the Blu-Ray). Iron Man had loads of stuff on both the dvd and Blu Ray.

@TheJacky Blu-ray 3D for the main TV in the house, Blu-ray for the bedroom television, DVD for the DVD player in the car, Digital Copy to watch when you are out of town, and the soundtrack for working out.

What Disney is trying to say is, "Immerse yourself in Iron Man 3".

As much as I want this effing NOW, I'm gonna test my patience and wait for the entire Phase 2 box set, which will OWN any CBM collection ever made.

@Nomis

WE GET your opinion, but you're slippin' lately on your skills. On every IM3 post, you just post a snarky, un-intellectual snipe about the film but have yet to give a reason why. Really? It's all about 'The Mandarin' for you? I really thought you were smarter than that.

Whatever.

@marvel72

The content is good (aside from the commentary) it's just lacking compared to Iron Man, I expected more VFX stuff etc. but the Attack on Air Force One breakdown is awesome.

Just that if you compare what you get here as to Iron Man, TASM or TDKR its a very sparse disc. I'm a junkie for behind the scenes stuff

@McGee, watching the film a second time it did actually feel like a Lethal Weapon film.

But it actually felt more of a sequel to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
