I never got the hate for Bay. He makes popcorn movies, he never said that he's creating masterpieces. And no, he didn't rape transformers. They were giant alien robots fighting each other in the cartoon, and they are giant alien robots punching each other in the movies.

I love Bay, I love the way he handles things. I loved the first three movies too. Anyone expecting them to be a replica of the 80s cartoon was obviously not going to like them, but created his own universe and timeline for these guys.

He just better have a good reason for changing their looks. I really cant think of any plausible reason for changing their appearances. Optimus still transforms into a shiny red truck with blames all over it, and his robot mode is still big and red and blue. I dont see the point.

I never got the hate Joel Schumaker. He makes popcorn movies. He didn't rape Batman. In the comics, its about a guy who dresses up like a bat and beats up supervillains. In Joel Schumaker's Batman and Robin its about a guy who dresses up like a bat and has a sidekick named Robin.

YOu know that humorous action movie about a team of heroes coming together to save the world from a villain who used an ancient cube-shaped artifact which had been in the government's possession for many years, the one where a dude had been frozen in ice, a military base was attacked in the beginning, the climax took place in the middle of the city, the villain was held in custody by the good guys then got away and the artifact was the solution to the problem?

Unfortunately, your sound logic and facts will fall on deaf ears. Apparently, people think someone other than Michael Bay wanted to do Transformer, and that someone would have had a name big enough to command the same budget and production values as Spielberg and Bay, then, make a masterpiece about Robots and their problems with a few humans thrown in.

The only Robots I've ever cared for *sniff* are these:

my primary issue with bay has been 1 he gave prime a mouth which no incarnation had with the exception of beast wars and now they all do it, second he stated he disliked the dinobots...and that made me have a personnal grudge. Especially now that their in the movie...I don't trust him.
