AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Spotted Filming Like It's 1940 In New London Set Photos

Though no stars were photographed, confirmed sightings of Chris Evans and two other Avengers: Age of Ultron actors are revealed in set reports, while photos allude to a 1940s flashback. Check it out!

Filming for Avengers: Age of Ultron picked up today at the Rivoli Ballroom in London, England, where several extras were seen dressed in 1940s military garb. Observation would suggest there will be a flashback in the 2015 Marvel sequel involving Steve Rogers, which Chris Evans himself hinted at during an interview last month. However, Evans was joined by his Captain America co-star Hayley Atwell (aka Peggy Carter) for the said scene(s), but they weren't alone. A reliable source reports that British actor Paul Bettany, whose longtime Iron Man voice role J.A.R.V.I.S. will become the humanoid Vision in Age of Ultron, was also on set today. So, what exactly could this scene entail involving Steve Rogers, Peggy Carter, the Vision, and a 1940s ballroom setting? While you're thinking that over, check out some photos  taken by Jasmine Bailey and Winne Kataka.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, with Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Spader. The film is set for release on May 1, 2015.

Ended up re-watching The Avengers after seeing CATWS. Lots of cool hints in there about Winter Soldier.

SPOILERS

A scene after the capture of Loki where Cap found that SHIELD was storing Hydra equipment.

Tony tries hacking SHIELD and discovers they were making WMD's like the ones in Winter Soldier but not before SHIELD stops the hack.

A rogue SHIELD agent that Fury had no knowledge attempted to fire the missile to blow up New York without the High Council information even being released by Fury.

A 5 min deleted scene called "Man out of Time" where Steve was looking through files of his old commrades, but 2 things stood out:

- Margaret "Peggy" Carter's information was there which is how he knew where to find her in Winter Soldier.

- Howard Stark and his wife's death were on the same exact date (December 17, 1991) . In Winter Soldier it's revealed Hydra had a hand in their deaths.

Stark took the voice and personality of Jarvis from Bettany's character (maybe the human torch), who was a friend of his father or even a relative.
No time travel, it would be too much for a movie. The time gem needs a full movie. Time travel is really tricky.
Where are all those theories with the mandarin and time travel BS?

Has to be Jim Hammond related, as the Vision's body was created from that of the android original Human Torch.

@Josh

Good thinking buddy. Well if that's the case, then it makes sense now. Can Marvel use the android original Human Torch though?

Remember, Vision was made with the android body of the original Human Torch, which we could see at the Stark Expo in Captain America: The First Avenger.
