Joss Whedon Discusses The Helicarrier In New THE AVENGERS Blu-Ray Clip

In this clip from the featurette “Marvel’s The Avengers – A Visual Journey”, fans get a look at the design process behind the new helicarrier, how much of the ship was digital, and more. Whedon also talks about how much they pulled from the comics with the new design.




The Avengers is scheduled to be released on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and DVD on September 25, 2012. The film will also be collected in a 10-disc set titled Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One – Avengers Assembled, which will include all of the previous films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Loved it on the movie. Looked perfect.

BTW I re-watched TDKR yesterday and gotta say Avengers still my #1 2012 CBM.

I actually really enjoyed TDKR, but no way in hell I'd sit through it in a theater again. Just couldn't do it.

The scenes on the main deck of the heli-carrier reminded me of GalaxyQuest. I enjoyed Avengers but it was too cheesy in places for me.

Other way around for me, seen TDKR three times now and plan on seeing it once more in theaters before the run is over. The avengers was awesome but once was enough for me plus I have the avengers downloaded if I want to watch it again lol
