Damn, so the deleted scenes are in the special features, not in an actual Directors Cut for the film.

Of course not Bane2099 - Thats reserved for when we've all bought the Blu-Ray and they can then come out with the director's cut on the build-up to the release of Avengers II - forcing us to buy it all over again. ^^

The menu screens look fantastic. I like the screen with all the heroes pictured, and I bet they make cool sounding swishy-noises when you scroll across to the next hero, (apart from Hawkeye which should be a squelching farty-noise as you scroll onto his panel).

And what does that actually mean though Civil War digital collection?, a downloadable collectable feature? - because the 'Shield Vault' on Thor's extras was criminally under-used with entire sections not even supported. The entire scanned Civil War graphic novel? - I doubt it very much!.

And Civil War being mentioned so openly on the first Avengers Blu-Ray?. Go-Go Phase III speculation!

Just because Joss Whedon said that there would be no director's cut does not mean that there will be no director's cut. I'm going to assume that Disney/Marvel paid mister Whedon a pretty penny to sign on for the next 3 years of CBM and TV work and if Disney/Marvel feels there needs to be an Avengers director's cut to defray some of that expense then guess what we're going to get? That's right, a director's cut! Don't forget, as in all things, money is the bottom line.

Civil War would be cool, but they need a hell of a lot more characters back in order to do it right!

Actually, I had an idea for an Avengers sequel that incorporates elements of Civil War with Ultron in the mix. Here's how it would go down:

At this point in the MCU, Hank Pym has been introduced. He is working on Ultron. Anyway, the government wants to pass the SRA, and it creates some tension between the heroes. This leads to a divide, with the Pro-Registration Side led by Iron Man and the Anti-Registration Side led by Cap. Throughout the film, the two sides battle each other. At some point, Ultron is activated and goes rogue. Seeing what Ultron is going to do, the heroes decide to set aside the whole SRA conflict and work together to take down Ultron. This leads to them defeating Ultron and finally working things out between each other.

So, what do you guys think?

What i want is Marvel t get the rights to X-Men (considerin what a complete mess First class was -_-) and have them build a mutant hysteria story line, turn it into S.H.I.E.L.D (aka The Avengers) vs The X-Men and then hav Maria Hill use tha to push more heroe registration and then due a civil war (not following the story line just sharing the concept and key players)

@Rockerdude, i would be ok with something like that. but i think the shit would hit the fan on here of Whedon deviated that far from the material

Nolan said there would be no Robin in The Dark Knight Rises, too. I've always said don't believe what artists say about their own work, and the same applies here.

Maybe there will be a director's cut; maybe there won't be. I think there will be at some point in the future.

@MisterNiceGuy True, but I think other recent CBMs have made deviations that were just as big as the one I just suggested. So, I really don't think it would be all that bad.
