DMON @ Well IF it ever makes a series (which i doubt), either they wise up and make the costume decent or bring back the REAL PHANTOM, becoz all i see is a poor mans [frick]ing POWER RANGER, they have totally dragged this franchise through the MUD!!

I could be wrong, but doubt it lol, anyone see this in Canada at Christmas???

Lee@ Riverworld looks interesting, though maybe like I've seen it before? I spotted 2 Battlestar actors too! And was that Alan Cumming in the cloak?

I must admit something as well: I read the novelization of the film The Phantom. 3 times.

Sci-Fi has shown a movie called Riverworld before. Looked like it was a series pilot, because the never really got to the end. This looks like the same story, with a different cast, but it seems to go farther. The other one was decent.

The Phantom costume looks horrible, and I am not even a fan of the original. They have some time, they need to do a re-shoot of a final scene, where they guy says he is going to go back to the classic suit before ending the episode. That way they can get away from it if they make this mess into a series. I see Flash Gordon all over again.

"It was shown last year to lucky Canadian viewers..."

I am Canadian and I don't consider myself lucky at all for seeing that. I had to play the damn thing mostly on fast forward, too many flaws to even count them.

Acting was really poor, storyline, well, you don't care too much...action sequence very poorly executed and the costume, yeurk...

I'm all for putting Superheroes in a realistic world, updating their look a bit but a big part of what the phantom is, is the costume itself. Major piece of crap, don't waste any minute on it. Maybe with bad rating Syfy will listen to the fans.

the billy zane version was a masterpiece compare to it.

until the Syphillis Channel makes them put the Phantom in an actual costume, I'll find something else to watch.

DDD: I would have loved a sequel to Zane's Phantom also. I'm glad to find others who appreciated this underrated treasure.

In 1674, the hookahs Dutch ceded their American testkings territory to England; the province of New Netherland was renamed New York. Many new immigrants, 000-833 especially to the South, were JN0-141 indentured servants—some JN0-342 two-thirds of all Virginia 1z0-032 immigrants between 1630 1K0-002 and 1680.[31] By the turn of the century, African 117-202 slaves were becoming the primary source of bonded HH0-110 labor. With the 1729 division 642-587 of the Carolinas and the 1732 colonization 650-251 of Georgia, the thirteen British 642-736 colonies that would become the 642-972 United States of America EC0-349 were established. All had HP0-J22 local governments with a00-211 elections open to most free men, with a growing HP2-T19 devotion to the ancient rights of Englishmen 117-102 and a sense of self-government HH0-120 stimulating support for republicanism. All 1z0-007 legalized the African slave trade. With high birth 117-201 rates, low death rates, and steady immigration, 650-621 the colonial population grew rapidly. The Christian revivalist movement of the 1730s and 1740s known as the Great Awakening fueled interest in both religion and religious liberty. In the French and Indian War, British forces seized Canada from the French, but the francophone population remained politically isolated from the southern colonies. Excluding the Native Americans (popularly known as "American Indians"), who were being displaced, those thirteen colonies had a population of 2.6 million in 1770, about one-third that of Britain; nearly one in five Americans were black slaves. Though subject to British taxation, the American colonials had no representation in the Parliament of Great Britain.
