Thanks to Joblo.com, a short film has been posted from filmmaker Brent 'Clutch' Gaubatz, which involves his interpretation of the Star Wars universe. The film is set during Episodes 3 and 4 of "Star Wars," where an elite soldier has been sent to track down a known threat of the Empire. An Intense battle ensues between the Stormtroopers and Mandalorian warriors, during the elite soldier's pursuit.

Good stuff. I watched the 15-minute version. It relies a bit much on the “X-Files darkness” and “Lost shakeycam” aesthetic to mask their minimal effects budget, but it is an admirable work of film. Critiques: Why do soldiers in the future always execute firefights like it’s 1774 battling the Red Coats? Nifty Aeon Flux twist at the end, but it needed some foreshadowing earlier in the film to establish the moment and make it a payoff. But all in all, it is good. It will be a great film even without using any same day loans.
