Japanese Trailer for The Three Musketeers

Of course there is an abundance of new footage in this new version, and don't worry only the voice-over is in japanese.

Visually it looks impressive, but it has several things going against it, such as director Paul W.S. Anderson. His claim to fame is that he directed the Resident Evil films with his wife Milla Jovovich in the lead. Those films visually were good, but lacked a decent enough plot, and interesting dialogue.

I have such low expectations for this film, that any surprise from it would have to be a good thing, so they got that going for them. I'm not happy that they are using airships in the film since the technology for that is historically inaccurate. It's not off by a decade or two, were talking about a hundreds year off. That is like making a film World War I movie with the soldiers on Segways.

Synopsis - The hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Logan Lerman) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (Matthew MacFadyen, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson) in this reboot of Alexandre Dumas’ story. They must stop the evil Richlieu (Christoph Waltz) and face off with Buckingham (Orlando Bloom) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich). The action adventure is given a state of the art update in 3-D.

Starring Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Mads Mikkelson, Gabriella Wilde, Juno Temple with Orlando Bloom and Christoph Waltz. The Three Musketeers hits theaters October 21st!

Ray Stevenson is the only interesting looking part of this movie. Everything else looks atrocious. No thanks.

Another Paul Anderson crapfest. What a shame it had to be perpetrated on this classic.

Actually, it was done right... 40 years ago.

juggy 4711 called it. If you haven't seen the Richard Lester films from the early 70s, check ' em out. They're a blast.

@NateHawk

I think it IS the same music or people that did the music to POTC. LOL! But...It's cool. I LOVE the Pirate series anyway.

This is a different take on the 3 musketeers. It has more of a Fantasy feel to it.

LOOKS GOOD TO ME!

I'll Check it out!

When this movie hits the theaters I will choose to stay home and pop in the Salkind version from the 70's and watch it they way it was meant to be seen. Seriously, did Paul Anderson even read the damn book? I think not.

SMH....really.....this is proof Hollywood is in this bad state of remakes and updates that it sickens me, is there NOTHING else to tell. I got a goldmine of ideas that could be films, but no, we get Paul W.S. Anderson jerking off his Wife on screen for us, and I know that sounds dirty but really thats all he does. He casts his wife into these films to showcase how "bad-ass" she is despite not many woman being considered "warrior" types. I rather watch the Disney 3 Musketeers with CHARLIE SHEEN!!! than this.....mess.....clearly its trying to cash in on what made Sherlock Holmes vibe...BUT THOSE ARE TWO DIFFERENT STYLES AND GENRES YOU TWATS!!!!

The classic, ruined yet again! The Lester one was great! Paul Anderson is going the way of that Uwe Bol guy....Although I thought Mila was great in the Perfect Getaway.
