More Toys for THE AVENGERS Revealed!

Here are some more brand new toys for Joss Whedon's The Avengers. The Stark Tek Assault Armor for Iron Man and Captain America is a real show stopper.

I have to say these Assault Armor toys for Iron Man and Captain America are pretty strange. Don't get me wrong I like them, but I'm wondering if we'll actually see this armor in the movie, or it was just made as something to sell to the kids period. Would this even count as Hulk-busting Armor?

Which one is your favorite?

Cool, I guess...except for those Stark Tek stuffs (which are ridiculous; though pretty cool in some way, too), and of course the excessive accessories. And Thor with the helmet looks awesome.

Stop making masks or helmets on the toys...

They clearly do not wear them in the movie...

What the hell? The Iron man wearable mask has eye covers now! Took'em long enough, I might have to get it.

Is anybody getting the Batman and Robin(1997) feel from The Avengers?

As in worrying about toys and merchandise more than the movie?

Its just toy makers wanting to make money and capitalize on an awesome movie which it will be. If it sucks then Joss Whedon needs to punched in the ovary.

The captain America ones just look like theyve recalled old toys of the character from cartoons etc and repackaged them as Avengers, i mean the costume isnt like his in the film, one of them has the wings coming out. And theyre the only ones that dont at all resemble the characters look in the movie.

Well, Ultimates fans should be happy: we're getting both Ultimate Hawkeye and Thor, so they should be able to add more to their growing collection of Marvel Universe-style Ultimate Marvel figures.

I like 'em all. It's funny tho' seeing that when the figure is placed inside the Starktech armor the figures head is directly center mass, y'know, that place where soldiers are trained to aim for. lol.

Still, those are nice toys. I like that they gave Tony the new-age triangle omni-beam on the chest and Cap the classic circle. Clever.

Those Assault Armor toys for Iron Man and Captain America won't appear in the actual movie. Only stuff for kids.

@grifter: Yeah, the Hawkeye's action figure above is the Ultimate version of Hawkeye which is drawn by Joe Mad in some ways looks like Grifter from DC comics.

Captain Amironman Exo-Skeleton in the film or gtfo.

Why the hell do they have to always add crap to Cap's shield ! Just give him other stupid thing to carry around with it. Kids are still going to drive their parents nuts to buy these even it Cap has a plain old shield instead of one with a flux capacitor or a proton pack strapped to it !
gdarmo
gdarmo - 1/28/2012, 10:18 PM
If the figures have 'concept series' or 'comic series' on the packaging, then they are not in the movie. If they have 'movie series' then its on-screen. Quite like the idea of hulkbuster armor making an appearance though... For iron man only though... Are those sonic blasters on the side like they used in the incredible hulk movie?

It would be funny if they had Stark develop some weapons for Cap and Cap told him, thanks but no thanks.

I like the two battle suit looking things but the rest are pure crap. Why does Thor need an EFFING gun thing.

@Redbackspider Here's reality for you: no one cares about your opinion.

And because i'm feeling generous, a double dose for you: Someone having a hobby/being a collector is far more interesting than some miserable cur who tries to put others down behind a computer screen.

:)
