A new rumor has surfaced from the notorious Roger Wardell Twitter, claiming that the Masters of Evil will feature in the Avengers sequel.

Roger Wardell, the Twitter account that was responsible for leaking much information regarding Marvel studios movies, is at it again. This time, the twitter account holder is claiming that the masters of Evil, a group of super villains, will be featured in the 2015 sequel to Marvel's The avengers.

If this rumor is proven to be true, which Masters of Evil members would you like to see ?

PS: Many people think that this Twitter account provides fake info, however, as a follower of the guy, all what he stated before has indeed been proven true. Examples of things that Roger Wardell leaked prior to their official announcements includes:
- shield Tv series
- Falcon will be in Cap 2
- Black widow to be in Cap 2
- Crossbones to feature in Cap 2
- Mandarin to be the main villain of Iron man 3 (stated months before Marvel announced it)

Well, with Joss Whedon wanting Avengers 2 to be more personal, having the MOE as the main opposition would definitely be the relevant road to go.

great if true.i must admit though i was hoping for ultron,kang & introduce vision to the team.the masters of evil i would of saved for the third movie.

thanos needs a whole movie trilogy like the lord of the rings with a ton of heroes going up against him.

-the avengers

-the guardians of the galaxy

-the defenders(dr.strange,namor & the hulk)

-fantastic four(you never know by then fox may of lost the rights.)

I hope so. Personally, I never thought we'd ever see them on screen — it's amazing how far we've come. This is a better choice than Thanos — in my opinion. A supervillain team is the perfect 'next step'. We'd get to see Loki again, with his rising global popularity, Marvel would want that. Look, I could on and on — I hope Marvel takes this route.

This would basically mean Justice League's thunder would be effectively stolen if they planned on using the Legion of Doom or anything along those lines.

I love DC, I want the Justice League to be awesome, but I say "Go for it Marvel!"

DC deserved to continue to pay for being so slow in their plans.

It's probable I'm not sure weather this guy is legit or just a good guesser. I know he's been spot on with pretty much everything, but pretty much everything was already heavily rumored by the time he "confirms" it.

Still if true that would be fantastic.

...plus while possibly cool... how do you set them up? they magically appear? do we spend half the film with THEIR backstories? WE all know who they, or most of them are, but "joe average/non-comic-book-geek" movie goer i can see going "who the frick are these guys? where'd they come from?"...Executioner/Enchantress, if not introduced in Thor 2 are sketchy (IMO) unless you see them start in Asgard...Zemo (along with crossbones), again, if not intro'd in CATWS is a big ol' "how the hell are these guys".. two of the remaining 3 in the pic i barely know from the books! Good idea, but hard to implement without any backstory

This is not that big a guess. It is pretty obvious its the way to go. The Avengers have already done the whole big invasion force/army thing. Now they go personal with each individual members facing off against their own personal nemesis. They may even swap foes like they did in the original comic book.

If The Avengers was the Magnificent Seven then The Avengers 2 will be more like Silverado (in a good way!).

@Hawk - you forgot The Leader and Arnim Zola.

well..we still don't know who the MAIN villain in Cap 2 yet. and it's NOT gonna be Crossbones. Red Skull can always be recast..but, we'll see if baron zemo will appear in cap 2.

thor 2's got Malekith, still don't know bout enchantress and executioner, so could malekith take their place on the super villain team instead, we shall see.

as for the rest, the only one that's appeared and can be used again is Abomination, although it remains to be seen if Tim Roth will voice the character..i think marvel will prefer to save some dough and cast a vocal actor instead.
there's also Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader..but dunno if marvel will continue on his story or not.

and of course, there's the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley), but we still don't know if he'll survive IM 3 or not...

hoping for moe for avengers 2, end credits scene with guardians of the galaxy asking the avengers for help to deal with proud and mighty thanos setting up avengers 3

MOE would be awesome. Perhaps they can make a team from Baron Zemo, RA Man, The Abomination, Crossbones, and a few others. It would be great if they could get the Enchantress and the Executioner in this too.

Thanos can still be the big bad behind the scenes with MoE featuring. Similar to the Emperor in Star Wars. They'll need way more than the Avengers to take down Thanos especially if he gets his mitts on the Infinity Gauntlet.

MoE makes perfect sense for Avengers 2.

Masters of Evil would be great.

I think its enough that we see Thanos in the GOTG movie. Gotta give the others a chance to appear on the big screen also.
Maybe let Thanos appear in the third film (If they ever get that far)

Abomination
Crossbones
Enchantress&Executioner (Loki could replace them if they dont show up)
Radioactive Man or Mandarin.
Grim Reaper (He was great right hand man for Strucker in the Earths mightiest cartoon. Would love to see him as Red Skull´s or Baron Zemo´s henchman)
