Wondering why this is such fantastic news? Well, as I'm sure many of you will already know, ILM are responsible for the VFX seen in the likes of the Star Wars and Harry Potter franchises as well as Marvel Studios' Iron Man and Iron Man 2. So, the same company who have brought the Armored Avenger to life on the big screen twice already will now be doing the same for him and the rest of The Avengers in 2012!

With an all star cast which includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Rufallo as Bruce Banner, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, The Avengers is set to be released on May 4, 2012!

I still can't believe that this is actually going to happen, I mean seriously a super team movie with a cast made up of the original actors, wow I really hope the word does not end in 2012. Let me see this then end.

I really don't know much about these effects studios and how they compare, bt from what I see of ILM's past works, this sounds like a very good thing.

@BuckyCap, Pretty cool that you know that guy! I don't have any questions for him, but tell him Dragonball Z crushes Transformers! :)

Holy shit, I actually agree with Intruder for once. WETA is a distant 2nd. They've a long way to go to fill the chops ILM has.

@BuckyCap - I hope you didn't cost him a job by revealing he openly reveals information about "top secret" projects and contracts they're bidding on.
