Civil War/Secret Invasion?

how could they do Civil War? lol, with the 5 super heroes they've introduced? lol

they need WAY more characters to pull off a Civil War movie, lol.

anyway, bring on Ultron!

I wanna see Masters of Evil for the second one.

I could see it really working. Kind of like the western Silverado where each character has their own nemesis.

I cannot think of a better director for this film. I'm so excited! Way to go Marvel!

intresting stuff,i believe marvel studio's & the avengers is gonna show fox & its x-men franchise how to make a team movie & not a wolverine movie.

@Pygmalion i totally agree! and now with all the stand alone character movies finished, i CANT WAIT to see them as a team!!

If Vision is in a sequel or something, I wonder if they'll put in Simon Williams/Wonderman... I always kind of hated him haha

Can't believe it, but I'm more hyped for this than TDKR now. And can someone point out the hint to Ultron? I caught the IM2 diss.
KungFuKoala
KungFuKoala - 8/3/2011, 9:44 AM
@MegamattMOS - I think he was actually taking a shot at say, Green Lantern.

And how exactly did he hint at Ultron or Thanos?? I seriously missed that one folks!

He is one cool and geeky dude. I hope The Avengers is as good as I want it to be.

He is so funny and down to earth. I trust him to do a great Avengers movie. The actors are looking great and want to turn out a movie we all can be proud of.
KungFuKoala
KungFuKoala - 8/3/2011, 9:48 AM
He might actually be dissing Empire Strikes Back come to think of it. Let's face it, as good as Empire is, the ending does kinda deflate, especially when you consider back then there was no internet or nerdgasming over casting calls and location shots. Back then you left the cinema and then had a 3 yr wait to find out whether Han survived or not.

@Intruder ~ 2:52. I, and others ^ assume he's getting at IM2. It's a good thing, unlike IM2 The Avengers will be a solid film and more.

So there is only the Evengers movie next year from marvel studios...

They probably will tie the end of evengers to iron man 3

Oh, and great Cap B-Roll btw, loved the guy clinging onto that cab for dear life! Looked like a very fun production to be on.

HOWEVER, there's clearly stuff in his Mark II uniform which has ended up on the cutting room floor. Looked like he was desperate to find Red Skull. There should have been much more actual scenes of the Howling Commando missions, not just the 3 minute montage Marvel gaves us.

@ncreb ~ What else would he be talking about? I consider this to be Joss reassuring that The Avengers will solid and not watered down with other MCU character nods.
w8tng2die
w8tng2die - 8/3/2011, 10:02 AM
@intruder.. i think people are referring to the way that the movie he's making isn't trying to be "part 1" of anything, the way IM2 seemed to be overly concerned about being a prelude to avengers damaging the pace of movie..
w8tng2die
w8tng2die - 8/3/2011, 10:04 AM
and where are you guys getting the ultron hint?! am i getting the wrong stuff from my dealer or what?
KaneVonDoom
KaneVonDoom - 8/3/2011, 10:04 AM
I'm pretty confident that Marvel learned from IM2 not to make "sequels" or "lead-in" movies and just have each one be standalone with tasteful easter eggs
