Nothing too revealing here (keep your fingers crossed for more photos from the set featuring the cast later today) but check out the following report from The Avengers shoot in Parma, featuring the huge fireballs we've heard so much about these past few weeks courtesy of Fox 8 Cleveland.
"Oh, gosh. The first day I was out here, I was here from 11 to 6 p.m.," said Molly Miller, of Olmsted Falls. "I know that's a long time. But I'm waiting to see the explosions for 'The Avengers.'"
Miller is one of hundreds of fans hoping to capture part of an epic battle scene: explosions at the former Chevrolet Powertrain building in Parma.
"They got this big crane, and they have something rigged to it to where they have to bring it up in the air," said John Rusko of Parma.
A series of explosions errupted from a box lifted on the crane, shooting fireballs 30 feet in the air.
"It was amazing to see," said Joey Laumer of North Olmsted. "So it was really cool to see the equipment and what really Hollywood is all about. This is, so far, my favorite movie ever because I've been able to see the filming of it."
The blasts on the ground and in the air were staggered throughout the day, leaving fans hours of downtime between shots.
"It was great, actually," Miller said. "I made a lot of new friends. We just talk the whole time and wait around just to see the explosion. Definitely worth the time."
