Netflix Updates Info On IRON FIST, JESSICA JONES, LUKE CAGE & THE DEFENDERS

We have some new information on Marvel's upcoming live-action television series: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders. Netflix updated their queue with synopses for each show. Hit the jump to check them out.

I'm chomping at the bit for Marvel's Daredevil TV series to arrive on Netflix April 10. Heck, I'm chomping at the bit just to see a trailer. When it does come out I imagine most of us will binge watch it in matter of days. Next up, will be A.K.A Jessica Jones, which will begin filming in February. There has been some discussion that it won't arrive on Netflix until 2016, but that doesn't seem to be the case based on this new update. Netflix also updated their queue with synopses for Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders. Each of the four superheroes will have 13 episodes for each of their shows, and then they will team up for The Defenders. That special event will have 4 to 8 episodes as the amount hasn't been set in stone yet.

Watching these are like one of the biggest things I'm excited about this year.

Almost not sure if I'm looking forward to these more than Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

They're pretty on par with each other right now. Hopefully the trailer will make me even more excited.

I would love if Gareth Evans was attached to Iron Fist. Imagine Iron Fist series' fighting and choreography like Evans' "The Raid" movies.

Still haven't announced who is playing Iron Fist,huh?

Also intrigued how Shao Lau the Undying will be portrayed in this,as well as Lei Kung the Thunderer and Yu-Ti,the August Personage in Jade.

Will they even mention Steel Serpent or just draw from the Immortal Iron Fist and introduce Orson Randall and the lineage of the Iron Fist?

Speaking of lineage... Would they dare to have Orson Randall vs. T'Chaka? I'm kind of surprised that idea hasn't been thrown out there...

If you really want fan service,throw in Shang-Chi is a friendly rival.

Too bad Gordon "Master Killer" Liu is recovering from a stroke,because this series would have been PERFECT for him as Yu-Ti...

After watching Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, Ironfist would end up being the breath of fresh air from the four with his completely different origin and change of pace.

They could easily film some of Luke Cage together with Jessica Jones so maybe it comes out sooner than we think.
Still it will probably come out in 2016 but before April (like DD)

Same thing with Iron Fist if he shows up in Luke Cage (as he should)

They probably won't an ounce who's playing Iron Fist till at least sometime early next year.
