Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. With director Joss Whedon at it's helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Clark Gregg (Agt. Its a shame this game got cancelled. It looks like it would have been fantastic from all the videos I've seen of it.

I would love a first person shooter style Avengers game. Or an X-Men game. Could you imagine carving people up as Wolverine in first person, or using Cyclops, and everything being tinted red because you're looking through his visor?

Come on Marvel. Give us something like that!

If thanks ends up threatening earth won't that be somewhat of an alien invasion? If they use Lang is that an alien or time travel invasion? And um galactus, oh wait that's all cosmic, so what's the difference? I think there will be some kind of alien threat in future movies it just doesn't have to be on the same level, but for the most part all the stories on avengers earths mightiest heroes were alien invasion/take overs of some sort. The skrulls would be a secret invasion the hiding among humans. Some sort of a threat from the sea would be cool too introducing namor.
