I believe the guy playing Cap in this skit is Cobie Smulders' (Maria Hill) husband.

From the time of Mike Myers and Dana Carvey to Adam Sandler and Chris Farley till about when Will Ferrell was on were the best years of SNL to me, I would LoL so much to those skits back then, the skits these days get a chuckle or two out of me but it doesnt feel the same to me anymore. Call me nostalgic I guess :]

He flubbed two lines. Key lines, other than that it was really really cool. Cap's hair looked perfect and Hulk looked good and that chick sounded exactly like Johansson. Renner Did just fine. Assholes

that was quite boring.

is this all they could come up with a ripe-for-comedy subject like the avengers with renner at their disposal?

utter shite

That was unbelievably lame. SNL hasn't been funny since the 80's.

Renner's delivery is pure shit and unfunny.

sigh....smh. it was bad enough hawkeye hasnt been getting any mention in future movie plans..as well as renner's (although understandable)semi complaints about his role in the avengers. and now we get this... here is hoping marvel doesnt get fed up with this guy poking fun and kick hawkeye to the curb. he was a badass after all..

Agree with others on this thread. SNL hasn't been remotely funny since 1993. I remember being in high school in the early 90s and watching SNL with Carvey, Myers, Hartman, Hooks, Rock, etc... was a Saturday night ritual.

pesmerga44 - 11/18/2012, 8:12 AM
@AnotherSinisterClone Well if you think it was stupid to have Hawkeye and Black Widow in the movie because he used a bow and she used pistols then on the future JL movie they shouldn't use Batman. All Batman uses is bat shaped projectiles and a grappling hook so pretty much just as bad as a bow and pistol when compared to super strength, super speed, matter creation, shape shifting, etc...

@bigdaddy73, I think SNL died along with Chris Farley.

Yeah, I found this skit to be unflattering. Not funny at all. Why's he making fun of a character that he's successfully portrayed? I also found the stupid cartoon skit (cant remember what it was about) to be very weird and annoying!

SNL goes through phases, for the last 15 years it has been in a suck phase. But then again that holds true for all the "big 3" networks.
