KRYPTON is a beautiful, exotic, dangerous-and doomed. Its people are unprepared for the disaster that awaits their world. Only one person, Jor-El, knows what's coming. He has made arrangements for the survival of his only son.

The art designers on Man Of Steel viewed Krypton as an ancient world with an impossibly long history. Its people have reached a post-technological state, in which even everyday objects are hundreds of years old.

The landscapes and interiors of Krypton hint at a detailed backstory, and many surfaces covered with flowing Kryptonian inscriptions.

The Man Of Steel crew hired a linguist to develop a Kryptonian grammar and speaking structure.

Me thinks Lex will simply be a more cerebral figure in the new Superman film series. He may not physically appear but his presence will definitely be felt through each film.

My feelings...they never got him right in the movies. So i'm...reluctantly accepting of this.

Someday...someday...

Me neither, but however, maybe after the battle of Metropolis and during the ending, we see construction among all the destroyed parts, which could include the Daily Planet, which now is adding the globe.

@FightAs0ne- Yeah me too. Sadly so many people hate the Lex Luthor character because his depictions in the past films were absolutely HORRENDOUS. I mean...petty, real-estate agent?

People judge the character based on that. Which is wrong IMHO

There is actually a really badass Lex in the comics and cartoons. People need to wipe away the stench of Hackman and Spacey's Lex Luthors and realize there is a really cool Lex out there. I hope this franchise will at least explore that possibility. But i doubt it. By far- Michael Rosenbaum was the closest live action depiction to an accurate Lex Luthor ever.

One thing i hope they explain in the movie is why Superman's shield is red and yellow. From all the designs the House of El logo is always gold so why does it change color? Superman's suit is extremely colorful compared to other Kryptonian wardrobe.
