I'm On A Boat! New TRANSFORMERS 4 Set Photos Reveal Explosions On Boblo Boats

The S.S. Columbia and the S.S. Ste. Clair, both docked in River Rouge, are being used as props in Michael Bay's Transformer 4. They come with one smoke stack each, but the film crew added a second for explosions. Plus, new photos & videos of the Asian (Detroit) set.

Starring in "Transformers 4" is Jack Reynor in the starring role of a race car driver. The talented and beautiful Nicola Peltz has been cast in the female lead role of Reynor's girlfriend. Mark Wahlberg has signed on to play Nicola's father Flynn Vincent. Sophia Myles will play a major role as a scientist. Peter Cullen returns as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Glenn Morshower reprises his role as General Morshower. Kelsey Grammer was recently cast as the lead villain named "Harold Attinger". Directors Guild of America DGA Award winner Michael Bay will return to direct his fourth installment of the film series from a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger.


TRANSFORMERS 4 will be directed by Michael Bay, from a script written by Ehren Kruger. The cast includes: Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammar, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and Jack Reynor. Set for release on June 27th, 2014!

Less focus on the story and bots and more on the action and CGI.

It's nice to see Bay going in a different direction with this one.

OH MER GERD! EXPLOSIONS! BAY SUCKS!

We haven't seen set pics in weeks. And now since we do and it has explosions this movie will be automatically full of it?

A lot of you guys defended Pacific Rim saying you go there to see robots fight abd that's it, but criticize the Transformers series.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

Eh, I only rush to the theater on opening weekend for a handful of movies (usually Marvel Studios and WB/DC films). For something like this, I'll wait until the reviews come out and then either catch a matinee or wait for cable. That's what saved me from the last two films.
