RUMOR: AVENGERS 3 Won't Feature....The Avengers?
What will Marvel do when most of the actors making up their current team of Avengers' contracted movie appearances run out? Badass Digest reckon they have some details. It's just a rumor for now of course, but a very interesting one indeed..
Recently a rumor popped up online that Marvel might be planning to split their third Avengers flick into 2 movies, and while that is (most likely) not the case, Badass Digest claim to have uncovered the studio's plans for their follow up to Avengers: Age Of Ultron, and if it's accurate we'll be looking at some radical changes for the team. Because most of the current roster (Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson etc) are nearing the end of their contracts, the site reckon Marvel plans to keep them out of the third Avengers movie altogether, and save (what could well be) their final appearances under their current contacts for ..."something else".
This something else (Civil War? Secret War? Infinity Gauntlet?) would unite the original team with the characters we would see replace them in Avengers 3...whoever they might be. Marvel certainly aren't short of options what with Guardians Of The Galaxy proving to be such a smash hit, and movie outings for the likes of Ant-Man and Doctor Strange on the horizon. Robert Downey Jr.'s renegotiated contract could make way for him to appear in Avengers 3 too, and possibly lead the team? That's speculation of course, and, once again, all of this should be taken with that ever-ready pinch of salt. If this really is Marvel's plan though, what do you think?
