AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: Mysterious Alien Race Finally Revealed

Since back around the middle of the first season of the Marvel TV series, fans have speculated about the race and origins of the mysterious blue alien that was being kept on ice. Many thought he might be Kree, or perhaps an Inhuman...but could he actually be something nobody guessed?

Nah, you guessed it! Most of us figured it was the case, but as the team get closer and closer to the alien city, it's been confirmed that our blue friend above is indeed a member of the Kree race. TV Guide have the exclusive, and reckon all will be officially revealed in the upcoming December 2nd episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Executive Producer Jeffrey Bell sheds some light. "Our people don't know anything about the Kree or that there's a planet full of them," he tells the site. "What they do know is that the strange carvings created by Coulson after he was injected with the Kree serum are actually the map of a city, and they need to find that city before Hydra does. But where is it? Here or on another planet?". The Kree have been a staple of Marvel comics for many years, and recently made their big-screen debut in Guardians Of The Galaxy when a particularly nasty member of their race, Ronan the Accuser, made his presence felt. It looks like Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. really is being set up to help pave the way for the oncoming cosmic universe. More at the link below.

As a lover of the show that may be a wish and a prayer. I wouldn't be surprised if the show stops in it's tracks by the time GOTG 2 comes out.

I love how the show is another conduit to all the movies. Like behind the scenes, the things that arnt covered in the movies. the little details they dont have time to get to in the movies.

Let me break the news, Skye is Luna (her name was mistranslated). Her father is Maximus the Mad. In last night's episode her father, who is actually quite mad, yelled, when someone said Skye, "that is not her name!". In the comic books, Luna has the ability to read and control a person's emotions. The city is the inhuman's city of Atitlan, that moved from an island to China. Yes, it has the ability to fly. Although Luna in the comics is the daughter of Quicksilver, I believe that she is the daughter of Maximus the Mad (who in the comics has habit of mass murdering the locals) and an Asian local when the city was in china.

what for the name Luna and Maximus as well as the city name Atitlan.

This isn't even a comic book show. It's a show with bland made up characters who are given cliche backgrounds and wear plain clothes all the [frick]ing time. It appeases the MCU fans who will digest anything coming out of the Marvel machine.

This shit doesn't even deserve to stand next to The Backyardians let alone Arrow and Flash which are kicking all kinds of ass.

Did people not watch the show last night? The city is on earth. Remember, Skye found a match for the map almost immediately after they hijacked the satellite signal.

And @RorMachine, you're goddamn right. Nothing comes close to touching AoS. The writing is on another level compared to the other CBTV shows.

Wonderbread...tsk tsk tsk. Should we just wholly reject anything from the MCU like you do?
