The Hollywood Reporter have revealed the next CW series based on a character from DC Comics, and it's leaning a bit more to the obscure side than the likes of
Arrow or
The Flash:
Hourman! According to the site, the show will center on a "brilliant-yet-troubled pharmaceutical analyst who discovers that the visions that have plagued him since childhood are actually glimpses of tragic events occurring one hour in the future. Determined to win back his ex-wife and son, he heroically prevents these tragedies from unfolding, finding both purpose and redemption along the way." The character was actually glimpsed in a previous CW show,
Smallville, as a member of the Justice Society Of America. In the comics he's been on that teams roster, as well as the Freedom Fighters, All-Star Squadron and the Justice League. THR also report that the CW are still "mulling over" that
Amazon series, which would focus on the early days of Wonder Woman.
