Quite a subdued trailer considering we have already seen the robots in all their glory in the previous movies. Why go all mysterious now? I could understand if it was the teaser for the first flick. Anyway, I can't tell a single thing from this. But after the last debacle I'm being very cautious with Mr Bay's threequel. Also, /Film seem to have guessed at the identity of the Transformer glimpsed in the trailer. They Reckon its Alpha Trion; Alpha Trion is one of the Original Thirteen Transformers…He is generally depicted as an ancient mechanoid with a link to Optimus Prime.. Certainly looks like him..

The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There's new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime Transformers character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon hits theaters July 1st, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk and John Malkovich.

This is the kind of Bay movie I like, atleast from the teaser. It had a G1 feel for a moment.

overall, not a bad trailer. except the ending. it seemed a bit abrupt.

As long as the machines take top billing in the movie, instead of being shoved to the side for more Shia scenes, then I'll go see it.

Not a bad teaser. I hope they show Shockwave in the next one.

That was one of the worst trailers I've ever seen.

That was supposed to make me EXCITED for the movie?
It looks worse than RotF. And that is truly saying something.

All I'm going to say is that HarryKolmer likes it in the ass by smurfs.

This new trailer proves that Michael Bay will shut up the haters that have been bashing TF2

Seriously, keep the humans to a minimal and the last movie would have been a lot better. I enjoyed the first one quite a bit. The second one seemed way too over the top. I'm hoping the third one just deals with the robots more.

I dunno. All I do know is that Bay is a legitimate moron..

“On the second movie we got burned. We had a writers strike, we had to agree on a story in three weeks, and then we knew they were going on strike. It was a [frick]ed scenario all the way around, it wasn’t fair to the writer, it wasn’t fair to me, it wasn’t fair to anybody. It was still an entertaining movie, but I think we failed on certain aspects. What we did with this movie is I think we have a much better script, and we got back to basics. I think there’s some really cool action on this movie, there’s some very cool conspiracy, there’s great robot stuff in this that people were missing in the second one, you’ve got great robot conflict. So I’m excited about this movie. It’s more serious. I got rid of the dorky comedy, I mean we’ve got two little characters, that’s it, but the dorkiness is not there. Dork-free Transformers. It’s much more serious. It’s still entertaining, it’s big looking. I think it’s much more compelling, what we did, how we funneled our action, what we’ve got our characters doing, they’ve got a lot more to do.”

Tell me those words were not spoken by a man with an IQ of about 12. Its "big looking".

This is so much like the teaser for the first movie..
It was the Mars Rover in that one.

I'm not gonna get my hopes up, but I will most likely watch it.

Looks more like Unicron. He was gold like that.

Course... he also kind of looks like Ian McKellan as a robot.
Alvahnomicron

Man...I don't wanna support this movie, but that's Alpha Trion. Or, it looks like Alpha Trion, but since it's a Bayformer, it's actually Beachcomber, or Krimzyk.

agreed. Unicron. Golden, with wings? Unicron. It makes sense. Megatron; The Fallen; Unicron. Big Boss; Big Boss's Boss; Big Boss's Boss's Boss. Ahem.
Original 13? They already [frick]ed that one up in TF2.

It's already starting to look promising. :)

@RorMachine
I think they might be going back to the mysterious aspect because Michael did say that they were going back to basics with this one, and I'm glad he did. This should the audience guessing until we get the second trailer.

I enjoyed the last two and this is looking pretty great so far. However, as I did with them, I'll probably wait for the blu-ray rather than heading out to see this at the cinema.

I don't like a trailer, so I like homosexual intercourse with fictional dwarfs?

No, it's Michael Bay. If it was fan-made it would've been good.
